Please download the file and follow guideline in next post!
Download the test here:
Please label your folder under this file name or format [TS] Friendship Scans Test - (Applicant's Name)
Email email@example.com and attach photoshop files
Please note that you should send your file in .psd format and all layers should be intact (type layers, levels, bg copy, etc.)
-You probably need and want to download a bunch of fonts to typeset the chapters on Photoshop.
(BASIC FONT PACKET: http://www.mediafire.com/?fkkkeceg7ppi3x4)
-Make sure all texts layers are above the leveling layers, so that the text doesn't look over-leveled.
-Please set your text to “smooth”!
-Make sure to include ALL punctuations from translation files in there! Especially the ending punctuation! (Note: some sentence fragments do not have ending punctuation. This is fine.)
-Center the text. Try your best to fit the text properly into the shape of the bubble. No need to go crazy over this part.
-If a word does not fit a line, either shrink font size or use hyphens. Words are divided by hyphens based on sound. (Ex: understand --> under-stand. NOT unders-tand). Don't overuse hyphens
-To add white borderline to text: Layer --> Layer style --> stroke --> change color to WHITE (number means border thickness) --> Okay
-Do NOT try to fill in ALL the white bubble space! The font size should be easy to read but NOT too big! (unless it is a loud shouting or something like that).
--> You should shrink photoshop window to half of your screen, while open the PRed document (make the horizontal margin skinnier) and shrink document to cover the other half of your screen. This way, you don't have to keep switching back and forth between windows as you copy & paste text!
-Be creative! Have fun!
-You might want to save a copy of your
All Typesetters should read this!
This may help you TS. Check it out
