This tour is self explanatory. You and your opponent only use one Pokemon each. Post movesets and strategies here. Some good Pokemon for this tier are Prankster abusers, Sturdy abusers, Ghost types, Priority abusers, Multiscale Pokemon, hax reliant Pokemon and so on. Some advantages via types: Steel: Steel types can't be poisoned. Ghost: Ghost types are immune to Extremespeed, Endeavor, and Quick Attack. Grass: Immune to Leech Seed and Spore. Here's a set: Whimsicott (F) @ Leftovers Trait: Prankster EVs: 128 Def / 252 SAtk / 128 SDef Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Leech Seed - Moonblast - Substitute / Grasswhistle - Protect With no HP EVs, it gains a greater HP boost from Leech Seed. Max SpAtk makes Moonblast hit hard, but you can do 252 Def 252 SpDef if you prefer the subseeding aspect of this set and have no plans to finish with a powerful blow. |

Staraptor (F) @Life Orb Trait: Reckless EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spe, -SAtk) -Brave Bird -Close Combat -Double Edge -Roost It has Life Orb due to 1v1 meaning it will destroy and with reckless which makes attacks that you take recoil damage from are boosted. And with max speed and Jolly Nature It's speed stat will be 328. Then roost will restore your HP from the recoil and life orb damage. Close Combat has coverage from steel and rock types. |

![]() Sawk (M) @Choice Scarf Trait: Sturdy EVs: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 Hp Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) -Ice Punch -Close Combat -Stone Edge -Earthquake This is a great set to use for Sawk in the XY 1v1 tier. It outspeeds every none Choice Scarf user allowing you to attack first which plays a big part in 1v1. Pretty much able to beat every one in the tier. Great coverage, Close Combat OHKO Mega Kangaskhan and ice punch covers ground, dragon, and flying types. As Earthquake covers poison, steel, and electric. Stone Edge covers fire and bug. Sturdy gives you another chance and strike ftw. Gengar poses a big threat with the trait levitate, other ghost types as well. Azumarill also poses a big threat given that its water/fairy. Ice Punch and stone edge are weak to water and close Combat is weak to fairy. Earthquake doesn't do the trick. Azumarill wins with play rough then aqua jet. This is my favorite 1v1 Pokémon. Literally (almost) unbeatable one on one, this set only loses to steel types with leftovers, ghosts and hail/leech seed Aron (F) @ Shell Bell lvl 1 Trait: Sturdy EVs: Nature: who gives a shit - Endeavor - Sandstorm - Toxic - Aerial Ace Get hit by the opponent, live with sturdy, endeavor them down to 1 hp while shell bell brings you back up to full health so you get sturdy back then set up sand, toxic them if they can't be hurt by sand and aerial ace them if they're a steel type (and pray they don't have lefties so they're stuck at 1 hp) for the kill Congratulations if you follow these simple steps you too can take all the fun out of 1v1 battling |

>aron can slay teams Any competent player can play around that set with relative ease. It's more suited for a 1v1 enviroment, but as part of a 6v6 team, it basically just handicaps your team. As for suggesting sets, I don't really any experience in the tier to do so, though based in its coverage, I would imagine that genesect does quite well. |

You guys puzzle me.No mention of smearDOOM Smeargle@Leftovers/Focus Sash/Mental Herb Timid: 252 HP, 252 Speed, Whatever the fuck you want -Spore -Imprison -Transform -Substitute Basically, I put the foe to sleep, then Sub, Imprison, then transform into whoever's out. Since I used Imprison, and copy all their moves, they're forced to use STRUGGLE Taunt bait but stalling pokemon aren't good in 1v1 environments. You don't need attacking moves when you transform.
