..You have to specify here. Supernatural is a vague term that can be applied to many things. Some supernatural things have been proven, while others are just based on faith.

Unpossible. There is no such thing as the 'supernatural'. It's all a big fad. x_x

There's nothing to 'debate' here. Topic moved.

Board Description

Debate Forum
This is a forum for debates for things not Fire Emblem related. This includes other games-politics.
NOTE: Please make posts above the I.Q. of Forrest Gump or you will lose posting access here.

Forrest Gump makes more intelligent comments in the movie than this thread's posts.

Moved to chit chat.

How is Supernatural discussion NOT an intelligent debate topic? Seriously, many things can fall into this. Science, spirituality, religion, personal beliefs... ignorance to the general issue and people thinking of it as just 'silly' seems to be the reason why this in in Chit-Chat. Seriously, if Last Man on Earth and Private v. Public land are in there, this should be too.

Most supernatural things are just figments of our imagination working in abnormal ways. There are no such things as ghosts, but dead bodies do give off electro-magnetic waves or something (Hence why lights flicker and hinges move in older Civil-War era houses. Chances are most 'haunted houses' are built on unmarked graves).

Aliens... there is a possibility. Area 51 a military research center? My ass. I mean, come on, in a Universe THIS big, and Humans being the only form of life on this rock we call Earth? There HAS to be other life.

Though, Supernatural, in general, is FAR too vague. Most things considered spiritually supernatural are false, like Ghosts, voodoo, magic, etc., and it's proven to be false. More... materialistic supernatural things such as Aliens and such is a possibility.

Because you are the only person to make an intelligent post in here, sadly. :(

I think it warrants return to the Debate board thanks to you.

SKILLNADEN ÄR DRINKABILITY

My thoughts:
Aliens: Real. The probablities speak for themselves.
Near Death Experiences: Real. They've been documented and are shown to have extreme personal effects on those who experience them.
Zombies: Not real. Never any proof.
Levetation: Not Real. No Proof.
Invisibility:Not Real. Impossibility.
ESP:Real. It has been recorded to the point past improbabilities.
Telekinesis: Real. Uri Gellar could utilize whenever he wanted.
Bigfoot and Nessie: Not Real. No proof.
Werewolves: Not Real. Only Rumors.
Dragons: Once Real, Now Extinct. The possibilities of every civilization forming a legend about gigantic fire breathing beast is almost as unlikely as the Aztecs forming their own legend about a man very similar to Jesus and exhibting genetic links to Jews.
Time Travel: Not Real, never will be. Whatever Einstien may say.
Shroud of Turin: Not Real. Been disproven.
Crop Circles: Not Real. Pranksters.
Ghosts: Real. They've been documented, firm disbelievers have collapsed after seeing only one.
Ouija Boards: Probably. What else would make them work.
Stigmata: DEFINATELY. There is little doubt from documented cases.
Marian Apparations: Probably not. If God were to send an apparation, why not Jesus? Why Mary?
Prophesies: Biblical, yes. All others, no. I haven't seen much proof to the contrary.

That's it.

Touching.

Smartest post ever made.

Why does, "no proof," mean something isn't real?

Agree with you there.
Near Death Experiences: Real. They've been documented and are shown to have extreme personal effects on those who experience them.
Not too documented in this subject, so I can't debate.
Zombies: Not real. Never any proof.
In Haiti, where people pratcice voodoo, there have been many claims of the living dead, but no the UUUUNNGHIBITEYOU type.
Levetation: Not Real. No Proof.
Not real.
Invisibility:Not Real. Impossibility.
I've heard of a completely see through cloak, with basically the same function of the Invisibility Cloak. I read an article and saw the picture about it, but I'm not sure if it's actually real.
ESP:Real. It has been recorded to the point past improbabilities.
Not sure on this subject.
Telekinesis: Real. Uri Gellar could utilize whenever he wanted.
I'm not sure I can agree here. Telekinesis is a rela wide subject, and it can range from lifting spoons to cras. Honestly, I think it's al bullcrap. Have you ever seen one of the "How to" guides? =_=
Bigfoot and Nessie: Not Real. No proof.
There are many eyewitness claims, but this is a difficult subject. Honestly, there probably is some form of sea serpent that has not gone extinct, but I don't think Loch Ness Lake could not support one.
Werewolves: Not Real. Only Rumors.
Fake.
Dragons: Once Real, Now Extinct. The possibilities of every civilization forming a legend about gigantic fire breathing beast is almost as unlikely as the Aztecs forming their own legend about a man very similar to Jesus and exhibting genetic links to Jews.
Dragons, or some form of them, must have been real for all the reasons you say. Then again, it may have been some small animal mistaken to be large and feared by many.
Time Travel: Not Real, never will be. Whatever Einstien may say.
Not even getting into this. x_x
Shroud of Turin: Not Real. Been disproven.
The evidence really disproves this.
Crop Circles: Not Real. Pranksters.
Those pranksters have to be real good. Have you seen how complex and artistuic those things are? And to make it one night? Two pranksters came out claiming to be the perpetrators, but they obviously cannot have done everything.
There's something beyond human hands here.

Ghosts: Real. They've been documented, firm disbelievers have collapsed after seeing only one.
I'm not arguing anything here since it's a matter of faith.
Ouija Boards: Probably. What else would make them work.
No. I don't believe they are real. They're just Urban Legends and stories that people make up.
Stigmata: DEFINATELY. There is little doubt from documented cases.
Marian Apparations: Probably not. If God were to send an apparation, why not Jesus? Why Mary?
Prophesies: Biblical, yes. All others, no. I haven't seen much proof to the contrary.
Again, a matter of faith.

If I may, the fact that this thread is in the form of a poll might detract from intellectual discussion.

Because some people, actually, a lot of people, only consider something to be real or true when there is sufficient proof.
