Humans' eyes in the night.

I just read the news from a foreign language newspaper. They said something about in the future, scientists will make some kind of product that can let you see in the night. Do you think this will happen? And if it DOES happen, oppose or agree?

Well I guess it's possible. It would be kind of cool also. You could do more things at night and stuff. I think that would be pretty useful.

The only thing they have to worry about is getting it into homes.

Well, for that to happen, human eyes would need to be super sensitive to light or something. Let me think for a second...okay. You know how your pupils get bigger when its darker to take in more light? Maybe they'd need to change your eyes so the pupils could open up even bigger...or maybe they'd just have to attract more light or something. That could be odd though...your pupils would probably be extra small regularly.

Oh well, I think we'll just stick with basic night vision goggles for when we need to see in the dark. It doesn't bug me anyways for my ninja career. I'm just too skilled to let something like not being able to see get in my way ^^

I agree with the whole "household infrared goggles" thing. Being able to see in the dark could be very useful for many people--for instance, it can be quite incomvenient to clamber around your house at night when the power's out. I think sight enhancements like that would be pretty popular...

Hmm, personally I think I would miss the unique erm, ambiance of barely being able to see things.

Its called a flashlight.

Otherwise, it's all about how much light our pupils can gather in while it is dark. Seeing as there is little to no light when it is dark, our pupils get bigger to absorb more light, and when you stare driectly into a lightbulb, your pupils get smaller. So essentially if we wanted we could attempt to make our pupils better at gathering light, althought that could cause blindness on sunny days or staring into bright objects.

So, what? No more lamps? Read without light. Sounds, cool. It depends on how people would be able to see through it. Like strap it on to your face? Contact like object you insert onto your eye...
