You got the shitty Jack Daniels.

Behold, the holy grail of Jack Daniels!

Well, I jest, sort of. The regular shit is good too.
Yeah, I was going for cheapness. If I wanted quality, I wouldnt touch JD. I'd definately go for Black Bushmills. It's so nice.

Hell, the cheap stuff came the next night. 2.40 for a double of 65% white rum. Everyone else said it tasted like Petrol, but I couldnt get enough of the stuff. Went down really easy. Had about ten of them before we all decided to do shots. London's so cheap for drink. :NomNomNom:

As far as beer goes iunno. I like most things, bar Miller, stuff is just pisswater.
If I'm going out for a relaxing pint, either Carlsberg, Guiness or Heineken or such.

My favorite is Sam Adams. I'm also a fan of Magic Hat. Recently I've discovered that I think Rolling Rock is the best "fast food" beer. Meaning I find it to be the best out of the mainstream stuff like Bud, Miller, Coors, Yuengling etc.(Heineken so some extent).

Hoegaarden is my mom's favorite, and I must say her taste in beer is good. I bought a case and have been enjoying it.

I have a large bottle of Guinness extra stout I'll have eventually, as well as a large bottle of some organic strawberry beer I bet I'll love.

I recently tried the sunset wheat brew from Leinenkugel with my mom at a local bar and it impressed me. I will buy it next time I head to the liquor store.

My dream is to try the Trappist Westvleteren 12, which is only brewed in Belgium in small quantities, making it very expensive for Americans to purchase. If you ever acquire some, sell it to me for cheaper than I can get it on ebay plz. ~_~

Despite that, I am actually very. I'm 3/4 black, but I favor my mother a lot, and she's mixed and looks white.

And yes, I am a giant geek, but a pretty adorable one. :NomNomNom:

*Oktoberfest. Unless you are not talking about the German thing. But ugh, what is it with men and beer? It's disgusting.

Inui: you can't really go wrong with Sam Adams. I don't really spring for wheat or white beer, so Hogaarden etc. are usually not my favorites. I think Heineken and Budweiser are the two "middle of the road" beers that compromise price and quality. They certainly outdo Miller High Life, Corona, Coors Banquet, LeBatt Blue, any light beer (Keystone, Naty, Coors, etc.), and Yuengling by a mile and still cost just about the same.

Some of my favorite beers:
Samuel Adams - Boston Lager
Samuel Adams - Revolutionary Rye (Only in variety packs? A shame)
Harpoon IPA (Delicious)
Long Trail IPA
Flying Dog Road Dog Porter
Negro Modelo

Other interesting beers:
Dogfish Head "Raison d'Etere" (Tastes like Red Wine)
Smithwicks (Sometimes. Tastes like Guiness, not so heavy.)
Heineken Light (The best light beer I've had)
Lagunitas Censored
Arrogant Bastard (the hoppiest beer I've ever had)
Chimay Blue (It goes down more like a wine, but is great for a relaxing evening)
Wolaver's Alta Gracia Coffee Porter (Simply Divine)

If only I were 21 and could further experiment with beer. Oh well, it'll have to wait another month and a half until my roommate turns 21.

@Hollie: beer is disgusting if you try to chug it or drink far too much (volume) of it -- you get bloated/sick. Just enough is golden. Granted, of course, if you don't like beer I generally assume you stop after the first sip(s).

Edit: to be on topic.
