Maybe if some goddamn credible evidence supporting Saddam's supposed "global" threat, including the WoMs that just floated into thin air, was presented to the people before entering Iraq I might not be so skeptical.

Saddam. Fucking. Hussein.

There's your proof.

credible

1. Aluminum tubes that can be used to develop weapons.

2. Mass delay to invasion gave Saddam plenty of time to send his weapons to his dick sucking ally Syria.

3. What was he killing the Kurds in Kurdistan with? He couldn't have sent soldiers, otherwise the UN would've pounced him.

So we invade their country, crush their government, force our own government upon them and build some oil plants while we're there.

Sure. I see nothing wrong with that, considering:

1. The threat was a possibility.
2. Saddam was a douche, as usual.
3. hellz yea B)

Because America is filled with hippies who cry rivers whenever you cut down a tree. And if they cry rivers for trees, think of what they'll do when you leave people defenseless. The White House would be flooded, and George Bush would be drowned in the tears.

Actually, it's the treehuggers who are calling for us pulling out of Iraq. The flowerstompers are the ones who want us to stay in until God knows when.

I feel that success in Iraq would be creating a self-sustaining nation. As it was, it was self-sustaining. Just because Saddam was a n00b doesn't mean we should have driven in there and pulled down his statues. We should've actually stuck to fighting terrorism in places that actually could've been responsible for 9/11, not chasing phantom nukes through Baghdad and back.
As is, our Iraqi occupation is giving Al-Qaeda's recruitment centers (OK, recruitment dark alleys or something,) a field day. We should've never gone in, and it'll be really hard to get out. I do not envy the next president.

And we should care why? =.

Staying in Iraq to get the job done is necessay for the security of the world.

Going in the first place was necessary to protect our allies near Saddam and pre-emptively stop any possible attacks on ourselves.

Would you really want to pull out now and make the deaths of those that died for this meaningless?

It can be easily argued that they the deaths were meaningless. Your argument is pretty much saying

"You didn't let me stripsearch you, so now I'm going to kill you." The you is referring to Saddam Hussein. Sure, he was a total n00b, but that doesn't mean we should have gone in. We should pwn all the n00bs in the USA first.

Huh? Their deaths were meaningless? How rude to the volunteer troops that opted to go. :(

Sounds good to me, Kashif. I don't want to take the risk. He didn't let us search, so our suspicions rose. I'm very glad we didn't take the chance and just went in there.

Don't let us search? Boom headshot! Done.

Liberating a nation is one thing, forcing a government upon them is another. =/

IIRC, they're voting on it and we're letting them choose.
