Won the Impossible Debate (twice)

So are you basically asking does Art influence Culture? Yes, in some ways it does. But I think one needs to define just what is considered art.

If art is an organized representation, then all creations are art, and without it, nothing would exist. And because people view art through different perspectives, the organized universe could be not as it seems through its representation. Keep in mind that I'm just rambling. I really have no idea if what I say is truly supported.

As much as some would want to think, the media is the greatest environmental factor today. Kids under 12 don't swear often. Then you take the kids who watch MTV and South Park. They throw around swears like it's nothing.

I've watched shows like that sense I was 5 and I didn't start swearing until 10, only because other kids in my class did, so that doesn't nessesarily the reason. >_<

I think that some art changes a persons opinion, not their life. Emo kids are influeced by thier friends usually, then theirs friends will tell him to listen to loud emo music. Movies change opinions not life styles, such as a kid may go into a movie thinking that guns are cool and come out thinking guns are bad.
