Well I'll be damned. I guess you were right. I need to pay more attention. So why don't I see any advertisements except in other games.

I think I remember seeing FE8 advertised, but I'm not sure, not likely... And if I did see one it was like once. o_o;

FE9 is publized all the time, yet seems to have the least biggest effect on FEF...:(

@Richie: In any case all Gameboy games make much less profit than largescale computer games, or big market console cames (However Metriod is a big grosser, I'd imagine). So I guess they may have enough, but that was just an afterthought of my whole post...

But if anyone really cares to notice few games are on TV period, except for really bad ones, which have to resort to TV since their game is too uncommon for word of mouth sales.

Could be a combination of things.

Gamecube is the least popular of the current gen systems, and FE9 costs $15 or so more than the GBA games did. Also, Nintendo was uncontested in the GBA days, so if you wanted a portable system, that's who you went to.

I saw both FE8 and 9 advertisements on gaming websites, and I think I saw the FE9 commercial a few times.

Really if anything i think the fire emblem franchise in general is hard to publicize on tv unless you did it on the G4tv network so...

I don't see many RPG games advertised on television. Mostly sports and first-person shooter crap.

I think it is either because they are cheap, or they have not alot of money.

Saddly

PoR got a lot of publicity. the others didn't becuase before this, this was a Japanees gmae that they decided they would experiment with in the US. we made up about 5% of FE's profit before PoR. They couldn't have cared less. Now that they moved to a big system, and astablished that we would like the game, they started advertising. Maybe they will translate FE6. :D
My dying Fire Emblem Board.

Lyon pwns you all.
