Massachusetts, the state where gay men can marry and we're all liberal bastards. Since we tolerate gays, it is only fair we tolerate African Americans too. I had no school!

Of course I wasted a part of my day studying Latin, especially when I need a small amount more than 2 and one half double sided pages full of vocabulary memorized. :(

Latin ain't that hard. It heck'a pays off in the long-term aswell.

Martin Luther King Jr: God of speeches along with Henry V and Mark Antony.

Check The Blueprint...

We don't celebrate his birthday here.

Because we're not Americans. :)

...I didn't have school anyways. >=D but I gotta agree, he was a great man.

@Reaver: Wait...gay men can marry...what about gay women? =O

I had no school.

I didn't have homework either.

IN FACT, everyone was nice today because we have a state ELA test tomorrow.

I'd say I made off pretty well :o

Thank you Martin Luther King.

Junior.

Doctor

A great man, an inspiration in a time of need, a quasi-Jesus figure. May his dream come true, and his birthday continue to be a day off here in NJ.

God Bless. Possibly the greatest man to grace America's presense, unless your a Mormon and believe that wierd Mexico thing. Not to mention he lead the greatest rally to date.

It's a shame that after his people finally got their freedom from prejudice, they have to create some gay "gansta" idea. Show some respect. Hike up your pants for once.

In Liberal New York, we have this day off too.

Please keep Christian bashing to a minimum. This is mainly the American South (and mainly Evangelical death cults), which is similar to Afghanistan under the Taliban.

Touching.

Smartest post ever made.

Let me confirm this. My school has to be one of the ghettoest ever, and most of the dumbasses here think MLK freed the slaves. <_<

I have an idea:

Why not try to live up to his principles for the OTHER 364 days a year? Let's not save everything for his birthday... especially when they usually OBSERVE the holiday on a monday!

Because it's so hard to keep the ideals of this wonderful man in mind when you're trying to get the most out of all those matress sales...

MLK is my homie.

Too bad he's probably rolling in his grave at all these gangs and this ho-beating hip-hop, given he was a minister and preached non-violence.

And then immediately after his death, RIOTS! So much for that.

Face it. Human nature is violence, even if people preach peace, violence will trump it.
