Chapter 3: “No!” Lila wailed. “Yes…oh, yes!” Marcus replied back. He was dressed in a long admin-like tunic, which was blood red. He looked like the Red Mage from FF1, to get the point across better. In his hand was a sword, gleaming, covered in diamonds, and engraved on one side was a perfect rose with two thorns. Marcus’s attention then turned to Bosco. “Now, time to finish this!” He raised the sword up in the air into a killing stance. The others were hopeless to stop him- “Marcus, enough!” yelled a voice. A figure then appeared in front of them all. He had short brown hair, and small, brown, piercing eyes. “Alright Reidman, you win…” Marcus sighed. “We can leave…these fools anyway. They can’t stop us.” He smirked with relish. “Good, now come with me. Our next destination is my…” Then they both logged out. --- “Damn! I can’t believe we just stood like that…” Leon grumbled. It was the next day. On a medical web page, Bryars, Lila and Leon were waiting for Bosco and Richie to be discharged; Richie for his leg- Bosco for shock. “But who is this ‘Reidman’?” Lila inquired. She was sitting down, looking at the ground, perhaps struggling not to cry. “I know I’ve heard his name SOMEWHERE before…” Bryars said. I think he’s an Admin of another site. Which means…whatever Marcus and him are doing, it looks like they’re destroying forums.” A nurse then walked briskly up to the three. “Sir Richie is going to be fine, you all. He would also like to speak with you.” She nodded, and then walked away. “Well,” Leon said, getting up, “Why don’t we converse with our friend?” --- “Glad you guys could come.” Richie stated. He was propped up on his bed, apparently fully healed. “I've done some research, and I have something to tell you all…” Summed up, this is what he informed them all: -All of FEF was destroyed -All members besides themselves and Marcus, and those who were logged out like Pendant, were dead. -Reidman is an Admin of Starmen.net. -The weapons in the RP forum are recovered, and are currently stored safely on the ground floor of the Medic page. -And finally, Bosco is also discharged and is going to join the party. “And I’m going to be joining you, too.” Said Richie. “Wait for me on the first floor, okay?” All three nodded, and departed. --- “Wow! Look at THIS!” Bryars exclaimed. There were weapons of every quantity. Swords, axes, bows and many others. Bryars took a Meteor hammer, Leon a Daisy 693 Pistol and knife, Lila a bow and rapier, Bosco a giant Buster sword. Richie took a type of ray gun and a small knife as well. “Now, we have to go to Starmen.net.” Richie explained. “We must also warn the members of their forums to leave and log out, since there will most likely be destruction. I’ve already sent a support ticket and flagged our forum to InvisionFree headquarters; they will most likely clean up the mess.” They then departed for Starmen.net, via Google. |

Wow. This whole thing is an entirley new idea. Aside from the descriptive writing stlye, it's really cool how you're like "everybody was dead except for those who logged out". Creative use of the internet.

Huzzah Chapter 4: “How…much…longer!” Bosco moaned, dragging his (no doubt) heavy sword. They were in the middle of a desert. After taking an Invisionfree worker’s warning about how unstable forum-to forum transportation was (Now that FEF was destroyed, all security was tightened, and all precautions were underway, including the temporary ban of using Google.), the group had no choice but to walk. In-between FEF’s ruins and Starmen.net was a vast, huge desert. Bryars could only guess that it was placed there in proportion to Earthboud’s “Dusty Dunes Desert”. “Not long…I think I see something up ahead…”Richie called from the front of the group. Sure enough, the party could see an immense pyramid forming in the distance, being made of what looks like some kind of futuristic design. --- “Holy…crap” Leon muttered. If FEF was huge, then compared to it, Starmen.net was a colossal structure. Branches and branches of parts of the site were visible, as were its members, all bearing a certain design on their jackets, which was made up of a triangle and several rectangles. “Hello, how may I help you?” A receptionist greeted the five dusty and sweaty people. “Um…” Bryars thought. How was he going to explain that he needed to evacuate all of the members, in order for them to survive an immense attack? “Er…we all would like to register for the night.” “Understood. All you have to do is read the rules-,” She summoned up 5 manuscripts out of thin air-“And choose your desirable User name, password, etc.” The group sat down on some benches in the hall. After filling out the forms, they were charged with room keys and a Member Card. “Alright, let’s split up.” Richie said, in a leader-ish sort of way. “Bryars, Bosco, and Leon- You guys try to find Reidman. Lila and I shall try to persuade the members to evacuate with these-” He pulled out of his bag a pair of Invisionfree uniforms, one female, and one male. “Alright, let’s go!” --- “Jeez, just how BIG is this place?” Bosco whined for the second time of the day. Outside of the forums, the site itself was a doozy. Page after page of info, its contents could rival Wikipedia itself. Though the three men looked all over, there was no sign of where Reidman could be. “I guess he only comes in a crisis…” Bryars muttered. He was then shocked to see a look of dawning comprehension on Leon’s face. “Let’s make a crisis ourselves!” He whispered hurriedly. “I bet any leadership would come and deal with us!” It was planned this way: Leon and Bosco would start fighting, with enough action that a crowd would gather. Then, when one of the authorities would arrive. Bryars would grab him and cover him with a proxy, so he would disappear. Leon and Bosco would then help Bryars with the task with knocking him out, and then interrogation would start. It was foolproof. Except it didn’t work. Leon and Bosco were successful. After throwing taunts, curses, and finally fighting, they succeeded in drawing a crowd, then an admin, who really was Reidman himself. After he arrived, Bryars lunged forward with the Proxy. This is where it cuts off: “Aargh!” Bryars charged forward, Proxy in hand. But Reidman had to only lift his arm to stop him. Bryars was knocked down and winded. Reidman then took a huge breath, and amidst the screams of all the other people, yelled in a remote-sounding voice, “PK Flash Gamma!” Everyone except Reidman blinded. Bryars, Leon and Bosco felt the sensations that they were lifted somewhere, and then were knocked out, apparently. --- “Oh, look, he’s waking up.” Bryars started to open his eyes. He, Leon and Bosco, were chained to what seemed to be long, metal tables. Standing next to them were Reidman…and Marcus himself. “So pitiful…” Marcus laughed. “I wish I could stay for the fun,” He then waved his hand at something that were making Leon and Bosco (Who awoke before Bryars), speechless and sweaty. They were torture instruments. “But you know, Matt is expecting me. I better get a move on…” Reidman just nodded. “I will take care of them. Don’t you worry…” He then broke into an evil grin. Smiling, Marcus closed the door. Outside in the hall, he waited for a scream of agony, which immediately took place thereafter. ‘Good, good, he’s doing it right…” And with that, he vanished into thin air. |
