...Why some people think for a while when you ask how old a sibling or parent is? I can reply automatically. Have you guys noticed this? Are you guys the same way as me?

Because the age of your family isn't very important knowledge. For example, I can normally remmber the age of my little brother, but only because hes a year younger than me. But I have to think about my older brother whose... 29? Because I just remmber that hes 9 years old than I am. And I got no idea how old my parents are.

Lol, it's not something I consider 'important knowledge' either. One of my brothers is 17, the other is 9. My parents are 44 and 45.

Okay, but why would you want to remmber something like that?

You might be surprised the useless things I remember. At least this is partially helpful.
It's my family, knowing their age/birthday is just a sort of habit.

I remember useless stuff, but my siblings' ages, eh. My parents' too.

My sister is 23, I remember that because she's ten years my senior, and my brother is 22, because he's nine years older. I think my dad is 49 and my mom is 48.

If you gave me a few seconds, I could get it, but in lightning fast conversation I would guess the approximate age over the correct age. I'm always in a year's vicinity, so it's fine.

You and Frank are 15 and Tanuki is 12. I don't know the age of your sister though.

But it shouldn't be that difficult. D:

My parents are 47 and 52, my brother is 31. ._.

But to answer your question D_S, I can't even remember MY age in a converstation.
