Eat it!! Didn't Spammurization Sensation say he wouldn't buy a Wii for $250 after hearing the rumors that it could be $200? I distinctly remember something along those lines. Anyway, thats cool.

Indeed. I mean buying two for the price of 1 isn't bad at all.

Guys... we're getting fucking ripped off with this.

Analysts themselves said that the Wii could be as low as $179. If Nintendo wasn't so damn selfish, they could sell it at a loss and make it AT LEAST $200... plus, fucking $60 for a controller. 60 bucks. A controller for the system costs more than the games for it do. o_o;

$250 is still cheap. Sure it could be sold for $180 or $200, but Nintendo is a company and wants to make money. $250 is still a great price.

An Xbox 360 Core + 3 controllers + 1 game = $480 and a Wii + 3 controllers + 3 nunchuck attachments + 1 game = $480. And Nintendo was the one saying they sold stuff for cheaper then the rest and even though the Xbox 360 Core is nub compared to the pro, it should cost more. ugh

Who cares? Sony is taking a huge loss with each PS3, Microsoft took a huge loss with each 360, why can't Nintendo lower the price of the console to by taking a larger loss?

And the controller price is just horrible. Nintendo's advertising the fact that this is a console you can play with friends and family, yet only one controller is packed in (one controller and wii sports, a game that's supposed to be multiplayer... o_o; wonder if nintendo wants us to buy more controllers? >_>) and full controllers are $60. $250+$180 for three controllers is $430, plus one game is $480, plus a classic controller is $500... and that's how much the core PS3 costs. o_o;

Who in the right mind is going to buy three full additional controllers? For the record, all the games in wii sports only use the remote, not the nunchuk. Almost every other game is a single-player experience bar a few. The few that are meant for multiple players that need a nunchuk aren't really family oriented and are more "invite your fellow wii player over who already gets it and has a controller". The most I could see myself getting is one additional remote(not the nunchuk) for games like the drumming game that need two lasers going at once.

I agree that 60$ for each controller with a nunchuck is a little much, but that is how it goes sometimes. Plus with the pricing you stated that is all you will need for the Wii to play for a while compared to the price of just the PS3 system.

thats not a family game i don't think. perhaps a fellow wii player comes over and plays it with his own controller. i think the controller price is a little too high, but i also think it doesn't matter in this case.
