haha, you just made my day by calling Jiggs poofy. Anyways, Jiggs actually has one very important use for her grabs on non-ff's: fthrow and bthrow off the stage. Especially the fthrow. Her bthrow is only really good if she's really close to the edge. Her range is not shitty. In fact, what makes her so good is her aerial priority which is based on the instant range of her fair bair and >B. Her other aerials are still good though too, just not as rangeful. When I play as Jiggly I can be very patient waiting for openings. To strike before the opponent opens themselves up is a risk. To strike after is a guarantee. I'm especially careful against marth and shiek because of Marth's superior priority (range) and Shiek's amazing fair and seeds. Jiggly's extra jumps are her mindgaming weapon in those matchups as he no longer wins priority wars. Bad matchups I'll admit, but entirely winnable. |

You can DI her forward throw straight up, and then you don't really go anywhere. Her throws are good near the edges. Her range is poo-poo compared to the long-range characters like Marth. Any Jiggs that isn't a total moron plays patiently, so you're smart for that. Marth and Sheik have very simple and easy ways of killing Jiggs, while Jiggs needs to be very cautious and smart. If the Marth or Sheik is a n00b, crouch under their dashgrab and then jump cancel rest them after they miss. Most people have no idea how to fight Jiggs. I can pick my terrible Jiggs and rape people because nobody knows what to do. Everyone can combo fast fallers and semi fast fallers, but floaties give most people problems. Jiggs is crap against the top tiers...unless you're amazing at mind gaming into rest combos and edge guards. And even then, you're still at a disadvantage. I constantly crouch cancel vs Jiggs to avoid up tilt rest. When I'm a fast faller, I'm always DI-ing left or right. I know how to work around the WoP by just using projectiles. I have to use Peach against Magus because he can rest combo Sheik, Fox, Marth, and Ganon so damn perfectly and he can mindgame into rests and edgeguards so well. Peach is hard to edgeguard and nearly impossible to rest combo, and I get to use turnips. |

Fine to solve the sword problem use Garet from GS and give him the Demon axe for his weapon. Meteor could be his super move and he could use a mix of other fire psynergy for his attacks. |

Yup. When you're hit/thrown, you can tilt the stick to influence where you're hit and how far/fast you're hit and/or thrown. |

I actually find Peach to be one of the easier opponents as Jiggs not because she can be rest combod or WoP'd because she can't. It's because her strategy for this matchup (turnip spam) may be effective but is also predictable. If you can predict when she throws forward or up, the game is yours. On the reverse though, Peach can try to predict my predictions I suppose. It's just one big mind game and that is one of my strengths. |

Yeah...uh... Try that stuff vs Ryoko's Peach and you'll be taken back to Grade 1. Magus practices with Ryoko a lot and still struggles vs good turnip spam. I doubt you've played a Peach worth even calling "decent" yet since she's rarely used by casual players. Jigglypuff's jumps are too slow and she lacks the right range to deal with turnips. She has no choice by to force Peach to throw the turnip then make a quick attempt at getting a hit in. Jigglypuff is pretty much gay'd by every top tier. =/ |

I'm still deciding which Megaman character I want. It would be logical to stick Zero (Megaman Zero series) in to the fray, but he just doesn't seem like a SSB-type character. |

Snake has had some pretty weird moments in his gaming career which could translate well to an SSB game, such as his trademark box. |

at your peach comment, I just played a Peach today! There are peaches played. It's a solid strat vs Jiggly but it isn't flawless. The moment the turnip isn't in her hand, jiggly harasses her with WoP. When she gets a turnip, jiggly does the hover around peach game and tries to mindgame the turnip out of her hand. I say this is a fair matchup, jiggly is not just gayed out of the match. One thing I like to do if the Peach is really stubborn is float over and past the Peach with a dair once in a while. It's one large mind game to get the Peach to pull the trigger. |
