Uhhh... Good Peaches, dude. Kinda like Ryoko, who beat Azen and Aho this weekend. The same Ryoko I play with a lot. XD They really don't exist in your area, sorry. Florida is a Falco state. |

...I don't care about Ryoko. A Falco state? And what is NJ, a Peach state? You make me laugh. Ya, we have above average amount of Falcos, but it has variety just like every other state, and that means Peaches. |

Doesn't change the fact that he's actually an amazing Peach that beat Azen just the other day in tourny. An amazing Peach that constantly practices with Magus, an amazing Jiggs. Thus, I know the Peach vs Jiggs match very well. NJ's a Fox/Marth state. Name the Peach player. I seriously doubt you've played a good Peach yet. |

Pretty much, yeah. If someone has no results, no reputation, and no Smashboards name...there's a 99% chance that they are not good. It's fact, dude. |

I've been in the tournament scene for a long time, dude. And I also go by what professionals, namely Mew2King, say. Without tournament experience, without playing for something that matters, without application of advanced techniques in high level play...you can't be good. It's the same thing with ANYTHING. You'll see what I mean when you eventually compete. You seem to forget that I spent $200 and traveled 12 hours to and back from fucking Indiana to compete at FC 6, where I did great in teams and fought well vs Eddie in singles, a top pro. That's how much I care about tournaments and how much dedication I have to this game. I get aggressive with you because you constantly go against everything I say even though I'm by far and away your senior when it comes to the Smash scene. You constantly insult all I've worked for and learned about, whether you mean it or not. Stop undermining all I've practiced and researched for.

What Mew2King says is not research. ![]() You like to say that I'm nothing at this game, but to be frank with you, for all the dedication you have to this game, I've never heard of you as a smasher outside of this forum. For this much dedication, if you havn't made a name for yourself, you're not that good, just dedicated. Of course, I havn't dedicated myself to anything, so I guess you might have some senority here. But not nearly as much as you claim. |

...yes it is. XD He literally researches the game to find out new things. He wrote a massive stat database about everything in the game. Ranges, hitboxes, priority, grab speed, jump speed, etc. for every character. He analyzes Smash as much as I do Fire Emblem. You also never heard of Taj, Forward, Xelic, FastLikeTree, B-Ryan, etc. even though they're amazing and some of the top players. I don't expect you, someone who doesn't go to Smashboards and is new to the tourny scene, to know of a New Jersey player. Nah, I assure you I have as much seniority as I claim. The inactive Lord Knight is the only one here as good as me, too. Edit: Oops, sorry, Sam.

Realistically, it seems that Konami's intellectual properties are the only one's Nintendo has secured useage rights to. The sole purpose of this sentence is to emphasize how awkardly worded the preceding sentence is. Anyhow, staying on topic, it might not even be Konami's IP's in specific, mainly only Kojima productions. They're supposedly a fairly independant body in terms of game development, although not quite a second party to Konami just yet. As such, the character pool to draw upon seems limited to MG characters, maybe Konami IP's if we're stretching it. However, personally speaking, none of the MG characters seem to fit well in the SSB universe, not even Snake (especially not Snake). The Cyborg Ninjas (Gray Fox, Olga, and the new Raiden) COULD be modified enough to fit (given SSB's lack of ninjas), but even they would be quite a stretch. Extending to the other Konami IP's, however, it wouldn't be too out of place to see something like the Moai heads from Gradius, or maybe Twinbee. I think it'd be neat to see the Goemon characters, Simon Belmont, that sword wielding guy from Getsufuu Maden (Fuuga? I can't remember his name), Bill Rizer from Contra, or that little ninja guy from Yie Ar Kung Fu. Parodius related stuff would be neat (and very fitting).
When people are doing things like this, it surprises me that game companies just don't release this information themselves. They have the source code, and it would take about a month or so to compile and test this sort of information. Selling such a valuable resource to a group of nice players, and especially charging large amounts for this information could produce a hefty profit with very little R&D put into it... |

If I were to say "OMG Jaffar!" you'd say "knew it". However, I don't think it would suit him in it. I would most like to see a DBZ character in there, I'd laugh if Goku was. |
