An opportunist, eh? So am I!

I can beat Soja and that's good enough for me, even if it's only half the time. I'm reluctant to try to learn these techniques simply because I don't play it that often any more. Next time I play it will probably be when I'm in Tennessee again. It's kind of pointless unless you're a habitual player and are surrounded by other habitual players.

I'll probably just get Brawl and then play it for a week. XDDD

Yeah, you were fucking ghey in the free-for-alls when you were here. You camped and waited for f-smash chances with Roy.

But when it came down to you and me one on one, you weren't able to hit me. >_>; If you learned how to handle those techniques, you'd fair a lot better vs me and others.

I think the next time I'll be seeing you is June, right? Ivan and I are still able to go to your beach house? Get better by then, Jenni!

A game like this seems like it has too many "fun" parts to be a tourney game. Items, interesting maps, etc.

D: Linoud Strife wants to get to the beach house to play you.
Damn shame. If I knew people around here who'd actually play the game more, It'd be happy.

My friends say there's more than I think, I asked would his cousin who lives with him would play, he says yeah he probably would. D:

Funneh if I started off an Irish Scene, before the game dies when Brawl comes out. XD

www.smashboards.com in the International board kthx kthx kthx.

Items remove a lot of skill importance and replace it with luck. D: Too ghey, thus banned in tournaments and generally hated.

But they can be fun sometimes. I subjected myself to some item matches when Ivan and Jenni were here.

D: Marcus, you realize I've said this like twice on the board so far,
THERE ARE HARDLY ANY IRISH PLAYERS IN IRELAND, NOT ENGLAND. D:

Just, you always post saying look in the International section. T_T;
And by Irish players, I'm talking players in the Dublin region, the capital of Ireland. D: Not up in the North of Ireland. D:

And attacked you when you were busy trying to be fancy against Soja. D: Don't forget that part.

I hit you plenty of times. I just didn't do enough to actually kill you most of the time. I'm not letting you get that claim. I probably could do better, but like I said, I have no real desire to get better or to even beat you. Fighting you just isn't that appealing for some reason, hence why I didn't play as much as you two did. It's an entirely different matter with my brother or Soja simply because there's a rivalry aspect to it -- 'cuz it's my brother and my boyfriend.

I need to start caring first. D:

That's the plan, but who knows what may happen between then. My mom's behind it, though, and that's always a good thing.

On the topic of items: I LOVE items. Makes things much more interesting, and you can easily argue that easily countering and adapting to your environment takes plenty of skill -- perhaps even more when in conjunction with all the other crap you have to look out for.

And the creators obviously intended on having you use them, so might as well respect their wishes.

I HATE moving stages, though. Those kill me more than the actual players do. XD

I'll play Smash when other people are around. I used to always play it when my brother's friend used to come to our house just to play and was too cheap to buy it himself, simply because he always insisted on playing me for a reason I never really fathomed. We weren't mad pro by any measure -- but that was never the point.

Then there was the Teen Center, but by the time they got it most of the kids were several years younger than me. That was kinda' unfair. D:

that moron that forgot this is s11

I don't really like items, myself. It adds some nice variety...until some nobody whose only technique is SMASH Right+A picks up a Home Run Bat. What should be a blowout fucks up because some undeserving failure at SSBM gets a good weapon - or, worse, when you've finally wrapped up a combo that will finish off a tough opponent and they get a Heart Container. (Granted, that last bit was not as bad as SSB, but it's still fucking annoying.)

...Yeah, I have bad luck with items.

So you have to go a little further than your own backyard. Big deal.

The good European Smashers come to America for big tournament sprees. :)
