Game REcommendations

Well, Boxy died yesterday. It's a failing disc drive. :(

So I need a new game, preferrably an RPG or another dandy game that can be played on the GCN or GBA. It needs to keep interest as well as entertain, maybe replay value would be cool. Here are some games I enjoy for nintendo consoles so one might get an idea:

Legend Of Zelda, Seasons/Ages (I might order ages)
Fire Emblem
Golden Sun
Dragon Warrior III
Final Fantasy 1
Advance Wars 2
Mario and Luigi - Superstar Saga
Metriod: Zero Mission
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

Thanks!

I was thinking of Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon after a little research on my own. Anyone play this game before?

I haven't tried Shining Force, but my cousin says it's good.

Some good GCN/GBA games:

-Baten Kaitos (GCN)- RPG
-Tales of Symphonia (GCN)- RPG
-Metroid Prime (GCN)- Non-RPG
-Sword of Mana (GBA)- RPG
-Zelda: Four Swords (GCN)- Non-RPG (I guess.)

If you liked Partners in Time, you'll probably like Paper Mario.

And I think there's a Advance Wars for GCN, Battalion Wars. It might be a different franchise though, I don't know.

Baten Kaitos fucking SUCKS. Don't get it.

Same with ToS.

Metroid Prime is alright.

Sword of Mana is good, but tbe GBA version isn't that great.

And Four Swords sucks.

Battalion Wars is not Advance Wars. It's different game completely. I saw my cousin play Battalion wars in england.

Tales of Symphonia, it's one of the best RPG's I've played Reaver.
I definetely recommend it. It's an Action RPG. D:

Edit: Dear God Richie, Tales of Symphonia is godly. D:

I've tried for Swords. I don't own Baten Kaitos, but I have beaten Symphonia and Sword of Mana. I guess Metriod Prime is one suggestion.

Not true. Battalian Wars and Advance Wars (known as Famicom Wars in the land of the sun) are all part of the gaming series Nintendo Wars. Battalion Wars and Advance Wars aren't part of the same plotline, but they're definitely not different games completely.

LoZ: Wind Waker has some incredible cel-shading effects that you just have to see for yourself. To date, I haven't seen anything like it on any system, and the game is three years old now.

Tales of Symphonia gets my vote as a good console RPG. I dunno about Baten Kaitos, though. However, I would highly, highly suggest Skies of Arcadia: Legends. That will keep you busy for... 50 hours, 80+ if you want 100%.

Mario Kart: DD is good for a nice challenge. The computer gets MEAN at the 250CC class. I swear they get more fucking blue shells in one race than I have in the entire time I've had the game.

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles... unless you have three other siblings and you each have a GBA and a GCN-GBA crossover cable, don't get it. The single-player will only make you cry. As a multiplayer game, it's fairly fun... like a cartoony, FF-based Gauntlet.

He's tried FF:CC, Soja.

@Richie:

Baten Kaitos is kind of a loev or hate game, so that's understandable. I thought it sucked at first, but I started liking it after a while.

I found the other games to be fairly good or fun, but everyone has their own opinion I guess.

I think Metroid Fusion (GBA) is better than Metroid Prime.
The controls on MP are difficult, and I just dislike 1st Person Shooters in general.
But if you've ever played Super Metroid (SNES) or Metroid (NES), the gameplay is quite similar.

But it might just be me.
