Why did you find it necessary to bring up all the people you've beaten, then?

laaaaaawl signature bragging contests are amusing. It's just WORDS. You don't have to act like Slit has openly admitted to assassinating someone. I'm pretty sure the only reason why he has that in his signature is because it pisses you off. You fall for it each time, too. I doubt anyone is going to deem him credible. :valter:

Check me out, I'm FEFF's best. Don't worry Crysta, I won't let Inui beat you anymore in smash. I'll take him back to grade1. :D

lol, trolling is an attempt to instigate a flame. I'm just maintaining my stance that I pwn at smash and you take offense from that and keep trying to demean me, which is much more troll-like.

"You are nothing, accept it. Everyone is gonna school you. I spend my life traveling to game gatherings to show how cool I am." Stop.

It's true, though. You don't have anything to back yourself up, and I do. You're just talking random nonsense.

You can maintain that stance all you want, but you have no tournament play experience, so it doesn't matter and doesn't mean anything.

It's like you could pwn an NBA player while you're just on a high school team. Not happening.

You are not an NBA player or anything close to it. NBA consists of the best out there. You are not one of the best out there. If all you have is this tourny=everything mantra, then I remain unconvinced and retain the knowledge that I have mad skills.

Well, I tried. D:

He's not going to beat me any more since I'm not going to be playing with him again. :pacman: So I'm fine.

Uhhh. I compete with the professionals and have beaten amazing players in both singles and teams. I'm not a full ranked pro, but I'm by no means a newbie or an amatuer. .__. You don't know what you're talking about.

What do you have to show that you're amazing? You can beat local buddies? Umm...ok? I can fourstock local buddies using Mewtwo and Pichu, and I was even better than local buddies back when I was an idiot without tournament experience.

I thought I had mad skills, and I thought I knew what I was talking about. But I actually sucked, and I was wrong.

The point is, you have nothing to show for it. Nothing. No results, no training by any professionals, nobody knowledgeable in the game to vouch for you. That's how it is right now.

That's why you agitate me. You talk and talk and talk and talk and talk without doing or having. If you place very well, and I'm talking money placings, because in your region, which is mostly average players, I'd easily win money...then you can say you're good. If you get less than top 3, you're just average.

Let me list a little tourny player tier thing with a few names you might know if you know anything about anyone that plays this game. They'll be people from my region, and people from your region. I'll include estimates of how many tourny Smashers are in each category by percent.

Top Pros: Top of the country, consistently place high - Ken, Mew2King, ChuDat, Azen, PC Chris, KoreanDJ. ~1% of players.

Pros: Ranked players able to hold their own against top pros and place very well consistently - Marcus, Husband, Wife, Mike G, Chillindude. ~2%

Amazing Players: Unranked players able to compete evenly with Pros and put up good fights against Top Pros, up and coming players that will most likely be ranked eventually - Aho, Ryoko, DaShizWiz, KeepSpeedN, Tipman. ~7%

Above Average Players: Players strong in their regions that place well in their regions, but only place around the middle or slightly higher in large tournaments - Inui, Lord Knight, Magus420, WarriorOfZarona, Tope, Cactuar, FlowinWater, QueenDVS, GreenMario. ~25%

Average Players: The largest group of players that consists of regular tourny goers that usually place around the middle - Emblem Lord, Muz, Plairnkk, Velocity, SheikSSBM, SmashMac. ~40%

Below Average Players: Players that usually place pretty low and don't have much dedication, but they can still defeat inexperienced nontourny players - Just look at second to last to last place people in tournies. ~20%

Garbage: Players that can't even play with Average players without getting raped - people without tournament experience, mostly. ~5%

Most likely, and I'm not being insulting or trying to be an asshole, you'd fall under Below Average. You're decent enough to win against local buddies, you know about some pros, you watched some vids, and you at least know some of the advanced techniques. I'm just being honest from all of my experience with people in this game.

If you actually have a strong desire to get better, and finally accept that the fact that you're just below average in the COMPETITIVE SCENE, then you will most likely jump from below average to average after just your first tournament.

Becoming an average player only takes a little bit of experience and accepting teaching from more inexperienced players. Find a great player and befriend them, like I did with Mew2King when I sucked. Join a crew. Do SOMETHING.

My blind arrogance used to be a wall that stopped me from truly improving, and it still is in some cases even today. I know exactly how you're thinking, and I know what happens when people think like you're thinking. This is my last attempt at calmly educating you. When you compete soon and get rocked, just take it with a grain of salt and improve. It's bound to happen. Even Mew2King got owned at his first tournament.

There isn't much difference between hearing the egotist who believes he has stuff and the egotist that believes that the other egotist is just full of it. D: You ARE an asshole when you're telling someone they suck and yet think you rise above the flame line because it's "fact". No offense, but nothing gets learned through that.

Everyone thinks they have mad skillz, including you apparently. Get used to it. D: I don't want to start warning people after Lucas suddenly decides to stop "calmly" demeaning people now.

There is a light that never goes out...

Slit, really, unless you have some benchmark to show that you are "good", then don't talk smack. Go to tournaments, see how good you are. I personally don't understand the arrogance of people who havn't. They think they are great, but they never play anyone who are decent.

I would probably fall somewhere between average and below average. I've been out there and played good people.

Jenni, please see my signature with contains factual proof that I'm an above average player and probably on my way to being an amazing player. I don't talk nonsense or say random false things. I don't "believe" I'm good; I have factual proof that proves I'm good. Must I repeat the word "proof" more, or do people finally get it?

Yeah, I can come off as demeaning when people stick to retarded crap. Sorry. This is SSBM, a game I take very seriously and a game I'm dedicated to. I'm going to get serious when competitive play is discussed. If you don't like it, don't read it.

UNIVEEEEEERSE!

100% of what Inui said is right... He's only talking about tourney players... but out of all "smashers" at least 75%+ of them are complete GARBAGE. I've been becomming an average player by going to Chu Dat's BiWeeklies and playing great players like Aho, G-Reg, Tope, Chu Dat, Kirbstir, and other great players who attend... I get my butt kicked over there cause of the great players, but I am getting better because of them... You can't excel unless you play against people who can beat you... And it would help even more if they were pros. If you don't have anything to back yourself up, you are garbage...

Remember Inui... That scrub from Otakon who said he was as good as PC Chris? ROFL
