Yes. I think you consider the earlygame to last longer or something? I consider it to be from chapters 11 to 18 or so. In which case, Guy wins for existing and being at a higher level for the first few chapters you have Raven. Raven will then start to win, and win in the end. ...I already stated that I value the earlygame a lot more, and thus put more weight on Guy's usefulness than Raven's. |

Eaichu's said most of it. In durability, Raven has higher Hp and Def to match Guy's slightly higher Dodge, and Raven comes out on top thanks to Axes and a defensive Affinity. Hyping Guy's minute Skl and Res leads is nothing short of ridiculous. Also, if you want to talk about stat holes, I'd certainly consider Guy's Str to be a stat hole, and low Str is a much bigger handicap than low Luck. Anyway, Raven overtakes Guy *very* quickly after he joins. I'd say Raven clearly defeats Guy starting at Pirate Ship. That leaves Guy with about 3 and a half Chapters when he's there and Raven isn't(I wouldn't hold this against Raven, myself, but that's subjective), and maybe 2 Chapters where both are in the party and Guy is better. Raven has the entire rest of the game on his side. Even for those Chapters right after Raven joins, you can still argue him as better, keeping in mind that this is a Ranked game; like I said earlier, Raven helps Exp without hurting Combat. It's preference? I certainly don't see it that way. I just can't talk myself into believing that 5 or so Chapters carry more weight than the next 15 or so. I can't even talk myself into placing more significance on one section of the game than another, for that matter; you've got to pass through them all to finish. |
|
Reikken: I'm halfway through reading it, but it's so bad; I can't finish. --- Inui: You say Ilia holds more weight, but I don't, since Shin >>> Pegs and Sacae is more fun due to enemies that aren't fail and not having to move through forests all day. --- SACAE. It's more fun than Ilia. | |

Stop arguing this. It's clear that no one's mind is gonna be changed, thus there's no point. |

I voted for Lowen. I just like him the most. I hate how soon Sain caps his STR. Kent is a weaker Lowen. Marcus is very helpful. Isadora sucks. |

So does any other unit in the entire game. Except Matthew. Even though Matthew wins in attack SPD...by a whole shitload, I'm going to say Lowen has better offense because 3 STR + axes and lances > being able to double everything with only swords, IMO. |

Sain. As awesome and as worshipped as Lowen may be here, he only ends up good 2 out of 10 times for me. Not worth the enormous hassle. Sain never turns out bad. |

What's all this, then? I missed another debate... Anyway, Sain is the best Paladin. His offense crushes Lowen's so hard it isn't funny. And I'd rather take Sain's far better Luck and Str over Kent's 2 Spd and higher Skl (lol, it's FE7, people, Skl can bite me). Especially since Sain can manipulate the WT so easily. Oh, and.... WHO THE FUCK VOTED ISADORA?! |
