Alan. Why? They both don't kill in one battle. Lance doubles, Alan doesn't. Alan kills in two hits, Lance in three. Alan starts doubling (which is pretty soon), he wins. |

I have to go with Alan. Forgive me for the 'personal experience' thing, but in all but one of my playthroughs Alan has ended up better than lance. I think. I dunno, I haven't played in a while. |

While they're both reliable, I usually find Alan's strength more useful after a few chapters, since he'll start doubling as well. |

*shrugs I look more at their performances earlier in the game since thats the only difficult part. After that, it just gets easier. |

I get Lance the Roy C support first, since with a C Alan support that makes two anima-fire supports and thus no rounding down and a slightly nicer +1 defense over +2 crit and +2 accuracy. It's a minor help in chapter 4-5 or so. After that RNG drift will wash out the small inherent difference in the characters. |

I think that provides us with the best argument for Alan winning this poll ^^; |

I'm a Lowen fan but not a Treck fan. Lowen joins Right when you need him and he'll still be a good shield for almost the whole game. |

I defended Lowen to death somewhere once.. Lots or GFaqs.. Maybe HoE.. I don't know, but WJC came in breifly defending Sain IIRC. I still think 6 DEF > 8 STR and 2 SPD (Or something like that >>;) |
