What's the difference between .SGM and .SAV ? Also is there a way to change which format my ROM uses?

Edit: WOOPS, totally wrong board after thinking about it >_<

.SAV is the format used by the 'official' saves of the ROM

.SGM is the format the emulator uses when you want to save it in mid battle to abuse the RNG take a break and come back later.

Basically, there's no way to change this format. SGM > SAV though, since SGM saves also involve SAV savepoint rollbacks.

...Of course, we'll all be assuming you own both a GBA and a legal version of the program you've got a ROM of, of course ;)

Of course. I only have the ROM because I wanted to beat the game a few times on hard mode, and my copy was stolen D:
