I feel a need to correct people when they're obviously wrong.

Just letting him keep on spouting nonsense isn't any better.

EDIT: You keep saying you need to try them, even though there's no reason to. Gonzales has the better stats. Ergo, he is better.

SECOND EDIT: Light Yagami. I challange you to a Geese vs Gonzales debate. Then a mod can delete these back and forth posts.

If you still don't believe Gonzales is better, then you will accept, no?

Oh, but I won't be able to start before tomorrow. And I'm getting off now.

( I didn't see the second edit)

I never debated before so...you'de be fighting a kid in a wheel chair.

(Who wants to be my debate caoch ???)

A five-second guide by Simon:

1) Look at opponent's points.
2) Find as many ways to squeeze advantages out of them as you can.
3) If possible, catch the individual in a double standard or make them contradict themselves

I've failed to come up with something witty, so I hope you will enjoy this filler text instead.

Meh, sorry if I seemed arrogant. That was never my intent.

On hard mode, Geese usually turned out average for me, but Gonzo did a better job than him in terms of Strength and Speed.

I remember on my first playthrough I gave up on both and used Garrett. That was dumb. I started to use Gonzo again and he caught up and surprassed Garrett a bit.

No no no no no. Don't use Garret much because he really doesn't gain no more than 2 or 3 stats per level gain. Even with the HM bonuses he really isn't all that better considering that the bonuses doesn't really give him all that much to having him constantly getting double attacked just by having good Con.

The way you said that makes no sense.

And Garret will usually get 2 stats per level up since his total growth is 200%.

With his HM boosts, he'll definitely cap HP and either cap STR or hit 28-29, but his other statistics will still be poor. It's SPD that really hurts him in the long-run.

I've only got a couple of chapters past getting either of them evar on NM (and never even PLAYED HM) so discard my opinion if you want, but I'd take Gonzales HM for his massive win on speed, and Geese NM because he's cooler.

I never liked Garret. His growth make me...sick and his speed is horendous, IMO.

Yes but even so he does well enough against the dark knights of Bern. XD

Yeah, he does ok if he's like...on a peak. His class makes him ideal vs Wyverns, and that's it.

Wyverns, and that's it.

Thank you.

He doesn't double Wyvern Masters, though, and only doubles Riders if they have steel lances equipped.

He can beat any of them, but <insert axe/magic/bow unit here> does much better than him.
