Some general drawing tutorials. You also need to read some tutorials for anatomy and proportions.

Your coloring looks like it was made by a 3 years old. You need shading and use more than one color

Yes, you need alot of help on anatomy. Look it up on google. Heads are not that huge nor slanted. Also, body limbs aren't just fat tubes.

My suggestion is practice and read up more on real drawing and take a less anime approach.

Well the important thing is that I've tried. ^_^

I'm sorry to say, but I could draw better than you when I was in second grade...

This could be called abstract demented painting, but then, my dog could do better.

Yeah. But no one is good at everything. ;)

You're not trying hard enough then. I think one of your problems is you're not what drawing what you see. You're drawing what you think you see. This will mess up all of your drawings. I can tell you're doing this because all of your drawings look the same.

Instead of looking at an eye and just try to draw an eye, try copying the actual lines instead of what you think an eye is.

Good job ignoring the comments. Saying that you tried won't help you improve.

Usually when you try something, you either get advice on how to get better or quit. Since you didn't listen to the advice, I guess your quitting. Good riddance.

I think that's a bit too personal since he/she didn't answer me earlier.

Oy. Who really cares how you draw.

Ok. So I admit one who is seriously plagued with horrible drawing can draw better than this. :Psyduck: But who really cares, it's not like you can choose whether you are good or not, unless you feel like drawing as your life.

But... um... join the Unartistic Club! ^_^

Oh sorry, I must have missed it :x

Umby: While I am a firm believer than any one could create "art", I also believe that you need to know how to present it. Art is an expression of your feelings. The girl in my signature is representing how I was feeling at the time, a little happy, a little nostalgic, so I tried to draw her that way.

Perhaps drawing people are not for Ayanami.

Perhaps you should wander from the seductive world of anime and look to another form of creating. You'd perhaps be better suited for that.

I think that may have been what she was aiming for. But I can't be certain.

Alot of people who are getting into art nowadays are going down that path anyway, so I concider it safe to assume.

Though, if theyre passionate about art, but draw in a style similar to anime... alot of times its hard to be taken seriously by any prospective employer of say, a graphics design company, or a game firm.

I got the short end of the stick when I started college because I draw in a very anime like style :/

Ahh yess I see what I went wrong here. I didn't use any shading. But Inking wasn't obviously observant but also I have not started by not putting in any shine techniques and the arms no offense does not really look like real arms at all but however I did draw the clothes really good as well as the armor but with no shine or shading. In no time at all I will get alot better than this.

You didn't draw the armor and clothes really good. They look flat, disproportionate, and distorted. When making clothes, you have to remember that not everything is thick. Draw straight lines if you mean to (the lines that you draw look flabby and it looks like your hand was shaking), and always remember to be creative. And stop thinking you've created a masterpiece. Those are far from it.

I've never seen a dress frill that way, seen text on a shirt face exactly towards the view of the artist, ...seen any sort of shirt with text like that, and I've never seen the strap of a purse go above the persons hand. :X
