Animation and themes

Okay, I have a few questions.

First, does anybody want to start an animation contest too? We could do it, but it wouldn't be weekly. It would be monthly. The reason I've decided this is because animations take a much longer time to create than sprites. So it would be easier for me to manage, and the animators to animate if it were to be montly. The animation contest would also be themed, however there will be no restrictions except for animations must be under 300 frames. Though I doubt anybody would make animations that long.

Next I would like to discuss themes for the next few weeks. Next week I think we should do Gangster. The following week should be freestyle. Now, once we've entered March I think a fitting theme for the contest would be basketball. Seeing as March is Basketball's biggest month I just thought it would be a fitting theme.

If we do animations, we'll need a theme for that. If we can decide on it before March, I'll start it on the first Sunday of March, and the theme I would like to do is: Basketball. :P Again, it's March, and it sounds like a fitting theme.

There is a light that never goes out...

I'm not sure if we have enough animators, much less people who can do custom animations like Basketball stuff.
