Do you think they'd as useful as gaining a weapon on promotion? If not, how much crit do you think would be needed to make it as useful as gaining a weapon. |

If it were 30 then yes, I believe that would make the Sword master class much more useful....even if this game does not require much effort or the best classes. If it were just a 20 percent bonus then no. 5% more Crt isn't even enough to go with SM>Hero. This is probably why SMs in FE6 are used more often by the more knowledgeable FE player. |

In FE6, there was no splitting promotion, so knowledgable players used both Swordmasters and Heroes. Rutger and Fir are both very good, and Dieck is very good. But 30% does make up for not getting another weapon. Though, sometimes, even 15% is better than getting another weapon, if you never use the weapon you get. For example, I don't ever use Swords for Wyverns, except for rare situations. |

True for me aswell I hardly use axes for the Heroes (don't shoot me) unless its Armads Maybe it just counts for certain untits...Like the 15% for SMs is better than gaining an axe 'cause SMs usually have inferior Con compared to the Heroes, IMO. Swords on FalcoKnights rock. ....Since they usually have crappy Con. Iono, maybe it is ALL about opinion. |

The WT advantage was inferior in FE6 as well (+10% accuracy instead of +15%). I still use Joshua on this game
