I have a fun idea for the beer drinking / bar brawl contest: Each beer you consume gives you +1 Str/Mag or Def (choose which), but lowers your accuracy and evasion by 5. So if you drink five beers, you can have +5 added to your attack or defense, but you'll lose 25 accuracy and evasion. If you miss, you have a chance to randomly hit someone else, which can include yourself. I think I'll make that chance = to your Sklx2. If you do hit someone, it will be picked randomly from a list of the active participants. So you can still hit someone, it may just not be who you want to hit. If you consume ten or more beers (+10 Str or Def, -50 accuracy / evasion), you automatically get the Wrath skill tagged on you, but needless to say you're going to be missing a lot. You're effectively drunk as hell. To speed things up, you can submit three actions per round. You start with three beers consumed (3 points to distribute between Str and Def, at the expense of -15 accuracy and evasion). Consuming another takes one action. Betting is enabled for those who just want to watch drunken morons beat the crap out of each other.

Sargon might actually be quite good at the beer drinking, as he has very large hit and avoid. |

For that contest, how exactly with the STR/MAG, and DEF/RES thing work? |

You drink five beers. You have five points to spend on Str/Mag or Def/Res. So you can put it all in Str, Def, or balance it out between them. It's temporary, of course.

I understand that, I'm talking about dealing damage afterwards. Lunesta would still be shooting out fire spells, attacking RES, while I would be hitting things really hard, attacking DEF? |

So, shouldn't mages get nerfed in this, and melees get a bonus? How hard is it to cast a spell drunk, when you would have to make incantations, or something like that. Melee people just need to hit something really hard. |

Nah, it's easy to use magic when you're drunk, the old tavern and Sargon are the proof of that. |

No, because that would make things unfair and realism needn't apply. Since they're cast from tomes instead of simple memorization anyway, it's not that hard. Sorry, you can't kill everyone.
