Actually, I really, really, did NOT like the tactician. Shouldn't a noble/leader be able to stratigize his own battles? Outside of battle, Eliwood, Hector, Pent, and Athos came up with all the plans. Plus, the tactician sucks for fan fics.

The Tactician was an interesting experiment, but It really didn't effect much at all. I'd have to say I'd much rather have more choices (i.e. choose your own alternate routes, possible even leading to different endings) in the game, and not have you be in it...

I sorta liked it, especiialy since you get to chose your affinity and give bonuses to those who share the same affinity type as yourself.

Yeah, I liked it for the same reason.

Well, I kinda liked it, considering it meant you had a small role in the game, no matter how small. I also liked how dialog slightly changed with your gender (accidentally chose female once, too lazy to change it)--Sain made me laugh out loud when you got him back. But in the end, something like a character creation and then playing with them, even if they had little to do with the story and came in late, would have been cool. But they couldn't have done it, seeing as how they had drawings for the characters. Oh well.

Wasn't it proven that Tactican bonuses didn't exist?

It was proven that they don't stack with Afa's drops.

I thought the tactician bonus had to do with adding hit and evasion to your units?

Anyways, I kinda liked the Tactician. You'd kinda be like Oifaye helping Sigurd. Only you get no lines and ambiguous gender.

Eh, I didn't particularly care about the tactician much. Doesn't make too much sense being in the game, though, considering you'd think that veterans like Marcus and Oswin would be working out all the major strategic decisions, not some random nub.
