Why aren't women voting for Hill?

I got stuck watching Carlos Mencia one night and I was actually intrested.

Carlos Mencia went around asking women if they would Vote for Clinton for President, and surprisingly (Although I'm sure it was mostly cuts) women are not voting for her.

At first I dismissed this as TV mumbo jumbo, however, I went to the most liberal place I know, a College campus in california. And a LOT of women I asked said NO to Crazy Hill.

So I ask, (mostly directed at the women of the board,

Why would women be adverse(in california no less) for voting for Hillary?

Why do you think we would vote for Hillary just because she's a fellow woman?

There's a lot more to take into account. I'm not likely to vote for her, either.

Well let me rephrase..."Why would Women have such a STRONG adverse reaction to voting for hillary?"

I just want to know why women strongly oppose her far beyond my understanding or expectations.

PS: I just burned my crotch with speghetti sauce. :( Fail.

I think, as Crysta said, that women aren't going to vote for a canidate just because she's a woman. That's like saying that gay people will all vote for Dick Cheney because his daughter is a lesbian. I know I don't want Hillary to get the nomination from the Democratic party because I feel that she's too unpopular a canidate and already has a lot of slander built up against her.

I am very biased being on the convservative side of things, what are your guys' biggest problems with her? Other than conjecture-esque slander?

I don't have a "strong" adverse reaction to her. I won't be expecting the Apocalypse like some people would if she did get elected.

I just don't buy her explanation on voting for the war and switching, and I think it's just going to be more of the same, just with a different party in power. I don't want that.

I hope I'm not the only girl who's actually going to respond to this. XD

I hope not either, I would like a lot of information on the subject. While I have my strong beliefs politically (i'm agnostic so religion plays no part), I do find these minute intracracies(sp? please correct)and variables vastly intresting.

Probably. If they figure that the first woman president will affect that much, they'll definitely be strongly against anyone who doesn't seem like they're good enough to do such a representation.

I think that Hillary is just a normal, female politician who rides the coattails of her husband's legacy and takes advantage of the fact that she doesn't have a penis, just like Obama takes advantage of the fact that his skin is about 5% darker than the average white man's.

Meanwhile, all the Republican candidates right now are just embarrassing themselves. Giuliani can't go a single debate without mentioning the fact that he was mayor during 9/11. Here's the thing, how hard was it to be mayor then? All you had to do was look sad, make plans for a memorial, hang flags from every surface imaginable, and boom, you're a presidential front-runner?

So, the moral of the story is, vote for Nader: a great way to fuck over all the politicians.

I don't like Hillary. And I'm a Democrat, and possibly the most liberal douchebag on this site. She's too polarizing for people to openly show support of her. It's why people don't openly say they still watch Barney or whatever, because it isn't approved of by their peers.

Voting for Nader is a waste of a vote that could be used to vote for whoever opposes Hillary. It's exactly why my parents voted for John Kerry, not because they liked him but because he wasn't Bush. D:

I think the thing that pisses me off about Hilliary the most, is the many faces she puts on. Like one time putting on the Yamaca(sp?) and talking about judism and then talking at a different rally like she was catholic. Then putting on a fake ass southern accent... I mean really laying it on thick. Just to get votes. It was really REALLY annoying.

I know if I was a woman, I wouldn't want Hillary Clinton in the White House. One Clinton was enough for 100 years, and on top of that, I don't think I could take the embarrassment of her ballyhooing her "victoly" as "teh furst womanz presidentz!!11" much like a certain "Madam Speaker" has been about her station.

When it comes right down to it, I don't care who's in the White House as long as it's not Comrade Clinton.

from what i gather she seems potentially as flimsy as blair.

flimsy, that is, in the manipulative way that can get you hella votes, providing you have the skills to pay the bills. blair did in england, and has ridden his term out on it (also with a nod to the tories, who've been acting like losers for at least 10 years now).

sounds like people are seeing through clinton a bit prematurely though, as she hasn't even been elected for the first time (blair, by contrast, landslided his first election fair and square).

but who's to say- afterall, i'm speculating from quite a long distance...

There is a light that never goes out...

The most insulting thing about her, to me at least, is that "Southern" Accent she "uses" from time to time. I can't stand that woman. I hope to GOD she gets the Democrat Nomination, so she runs her party into the ground.
