If you have any questions about any of the Smash games, ask away right in this topic and one of the more knowledgable players will gladly answer it. It'll probably be me, but Kashif, Rei, or Steve might pop in sometimes.

We can answer anything about Smash lingo, advanced techniques, tournaments, pro players, etc.

PLEASE GIVE ME TIPS ON CHAIN-GRABBING.

Or is it really just self-explanatory. I can do it, but not infinitely and good players can get out of it.

Falco's? Just d-throw and dash grab instantly after. It doesn't work on anyone past 50%, and it stops working at lower damage on lighter/floatier characters. You can u-smash or dash attack after it, or use dash attack cancelled into u-smash.

You're going to have to just memorize the percents for the characters.

What's the best way to approach using Marth?

Aerials, ya. But some people say "get in your opponents face!" and others say "keep space dammit!"

Also, how exactly do you deal with people trying to dodge/hit you out of your aerials?

Spaced f-airs and n-airs. Running at people and then mixing up dodges, shielding, and f-b.

Marth's best method of fighting is to camp in people's faces and then react to stuff.

I don't know what else to say beyond react to it or mix up your own stuff. If you space the aerial, they shouldn't be able to punish it. Marth's f-air is incredibly fast; 4 frames, IIRC. It will generally come out faster than aerials that beat it in priority, like Link's and ROB's. Try to use that to your advantage.

And how exactly do I camp in people's faces? I heard someone suggest F-Tilting or something for that.

And by spacing, you basically mean tip them all day while dodging anything they throw at you and dash dancing?

lol @ f-tilt

Short hop aerials. Standing their and waiting. Space aerials to bait people into attacking, shielding, rolling, etc. Then react and punish with f-b, a grab, or a smash depending on the situation.

Indeed. Hit them at a distance where they can't punish you if you miss.

Also on spiking- how will I know when to Spike? Often I find that when I go to spike I end up going down myself due to being forced down.

You're fast falling while doing the d-air. Try not to.

The spike is generally not worth going for. Very situational.

What about this "Ken Combo" I hear about all the time, or was that only in Melee?

use the hammer for lulz if you're up in stock by a good amount

That or if you want to throw someone off-guard with timing, although it's risky.

D-throw --> jab will actually combo. D-smash won't if they tech, but it's generally a good idea. His u-smash will kill at very low damage and has high priority, but it's hard to hit. His f-smash is bigger than it appears. His d-tilt kills a lot of approaches. Use his d-air a lot because it has almost no recovery time and is strong enough to even beat the Mach Tornado. His d-air can just be followed up by d-tilt or something else depending on the situation. Attacking out of his up b is good. I usually see Game and Watch players overwhelm people with his crazy offense.

I don't like Game and Watch much. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
