This is generally quite bad advice.

Meaning the whole passage? In that case, what you said seemed to be more supplemental than contradictory, so whatever.

Everyone I've played that's good DIs out of Zelda's fsmash with more than 50% consistency, making it less then amazing to use a lot.

Notice that I said it's good against characters with a lot of lag, like Ike, not that you should use it a lot against everyone (I wouldn't even try it against Meta Knight).

Plus, Tiltyu is a casual player, and has said before that she won't attend tournaments. I sincerely doubt that she's going to run across people who can DI out of f-smash with that much consistency. Even 50% is nice if against someone like Ike, since your next attack can be another f-smash when he tries to do anything at all (at least, anything on the ground - his aerials are another story, but the only thing you really have to fear is b-air).

Din's Fire camping can be avoided with air dodging or by hitting the Din's Fire(you CAN hit it even though it explodes.) It's still not a bad idea on campy stages and/or vs bad characters but Din's Fire camping by itself is not going to work against good characters.

I didn't say to use it exclusively, and I did say "it destroys certain characters."

Snake does not have much of an advantage over Sheik if he has any at all . . .

Fair enough. I forgot about how much damage her f-tilt can wrack up on him. Regardless, Snake still has his broken f-tilt (which is twice as fast on startup as is his u-tilt), and mines and u-smash to keep up the pressure on Sheik. Plus he has moves like u-air, b-air, and u-tilt to deal with a falling Sheik (at best, Sheik can up-B in response to this). Even if Snake is at a higher percent than Sheik is, Snake's moves have ridiculous KO power, and combined with his pressure tactics, I'd still give him the win over her.

Sheik's uptilt is alright but I definitely wouldn't say it's "very nice". The second hit can't be followed up because of the lag at the end and the angle it sends your opponent.

That's actually pretty true, but I was getting more at the fact that if your opponent tries to airdodge or shield the first hit, he or she will usually forget about the second hit and not respond accordingly. Wolf's f-tilt has a similar effect.

You said you're going to have to rely on Sheik's bair more to kill because Sheik's fair doesn't kill at low %. I'll agree that off the stage Sheik's bair should be used to kill with but on the stage it isn't that great at killing. I'd rather dsmash or fsmash my opponent off the stage then edgeguard with bair.

Aye, and I never said that it was great at killing on the stage, or that d-smash wasn't a better kill move (I don't know about f-smash; I haven't used it a lot myself). I just find it to be the best of her aerials this time around, and as such, good for offstage gimping. Granted, up-B is better offstage in a lot of cases.

If your opponent is offstage, there's little reason why you shouldn't follow and try to kill. Onstage kills are easier to land with, but if there's an oppportunity, why not go for it? Unless, of course, the opponent can easily hit you while you try to gimp him/her, in which case it might be better to just stick to the stage.

Excellent info about the spacies, by the way. I'll have to try it sometime.

As the section about desynching was oh so helping in explaining how one desyncs, how do I get good with the ice climbers can someone explain how to desync the Ice Climbers?

Edit: AllisBrawl has the same guide; it's sort of genius how the author writes in the biggest question about desyncing is "How do I desync?" but never touches up on it.

How is Falco's reflector being used now that it is a projectile?

I haven't really used it often in attacking.

How exactly does the spammed moves effect work? I know that it is a cycle that runs on a set amount of attacks, but I'm not sure what the exact number is.

Yes.

I was just hoping for clarification. It rarely ever hit Fox, and whenever Falco jumps and uses it the range of the reflector seems to be so small, it only hits when dead-center.

Is there any character, remotely or directly, that counters Snake?

Dedede is the best character to fight Snake with.

I also think a patient and careful Meta Knight does well.

I'd rather be Sheik or Falco. Sheik's ftilt will do 300-400 damage in the whole match, she shuts down grenade camping, and she can edgeguard him well. She dies at 93% from uptilt with no DI on FD and Dedede dies at 127 but her ftilt clanks with his uptilt and comes out faster so it's also less likely that she'll be hit by it. Falco has lame CG on Snake that ends in spike off the stage or puts him at 45-50 damage. Edgeguarding him consists of spiking him repeatedly, a very simple task.

I'd still rather be Sheik or Falco vs Snake than Meta. Sure Meta does fine in the matchup but you have to work more.

Who is popular among team battles?

I would imagine characters with good projectiles, like Pit and Zelda.

But don't take my word for it. :(

Who is popular among team battles?

Tanks and characters that don't rely on time-consuming things like chaingrabbing to be good.

What are good Metaknight strategies against heavyweight characters like Dedede, Ike and Snake?
