I absolutely love symphonia and can't wait for the next one for the wii. I was playing phantasia but I got stuck at volts cavern because some door only opens a crack for me T-T. I am a little skeptical though of Ratatosk/Dawn of the New World since it sounds like characters are only temporary.

I'm a fan of this series too. So far I've played Symphonia, Abyss, Legendia, & Phantasia.

I've failed to come up with something witty, so I hope you will enjoy this filler text instead.

Thankfully, I have a modded PS2. Something tells me I'll also need a modded Wii soon if I want to play ToS2, though. Bandai Namco hates Europe. They're the fags who didn't give us TotA. D:

^ This.
Tales of the Abyss is my 2nd favourite RPG ever (2nd favourite game).
Tales of Symphonia is my 9th favourite RPG ever (9th favourite game).
Tales of Legendia is my 19th favourite RPG ever (24th favourite game).
Tales of Phantasia is my 22nd favourite RPG ever (27th favourite game).
They all make top 30, which is good.

Mind you I haven't yet finished ToP, it may rise higher.
I have yet to play the others. But I doubt it can get better than Abyss.

It comes out in America November 1, according to Wiki. It's been out in Japan for a while, though.

The Tales series does have it fair share of excellent games with Abyss at the top. However it does have some failures too (anyone ever play Tales of Innocence? It was just bad) I am looking forward ToS2, also an Abyss OVA would be awsome. I think they droped the ball on the Symphonia OVA.

Have you even played Abyss to know that it's at the top? :NomNomNom:

Also, Tales of the Abyss Anime has already been announced

Well, I've been playing the game for a couple weeks now and since I've played most of the others then yeah, I would know =P

And that is some great news for the OVA

ok but because you have a history of lying to everyone about games you've played, list the first battle of the game, first character that joins, first real dungeon, the next pair of main characters that appear after that and their positions in society.

then list the order of places/dungeons/towns in order of you visiting them

without going to wiki

I probably could if I actually played Symphonia within the last two years, but this is abyss I am asking him about.
