Well

If that's true I'd do that. Don't emulate it, otherwise the fight with Psycho Mantis would be...impossible?

Actually when you fight him don't you have to switch your memory card ports also? :NomNomNom:

I think thats only for the Gamecube version, but I may be wrong.

MGS was the only one that I have ever played fully. Grey Fox is my fav character and that your battle with him absolutely badass as they fight with bone and sinew..erm fists.

Due to the influence of SSBB is what got me to try out 2. Many say that 4 is the best, but I don't have a PS3 and I sure as hell ain't going to throw away 300 dollars to be able to play it. Some folks actually do buy the console for that game alone, but that won't convince me to buy it.

He's asking about whether you need a memory card to play the 2nd disc. And you fight Liquid using CQC, not Gray Fox.

You need a memory card, I'm almost 100% sure. Isn't that how the Final Fantasy games worked?

No, you just only have to switch your controller, then again on emulation you could switch controller USB ports, I dunno.

It is possible to beat this game without one, as the game will ask you whether that you would want to continue or not. The only downfall is...that if Snake gets killed in the torture chamber the game will not continue (that is if you don't yield.)

The only difference is that you get an ending that makes more sense in the series. Nothing else changes and you are probably better off with that ending anyway.

In regards to the torture scene.

You don't use controllers with emulators. :thizz:

Yeah, when the torture scene happened, I pretty much shit my pants because I thought I would lose for sure. Luckily it was pretty easy, and I didn't yield at all.
