Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog

Has anyone else seen it?

So basically, during the writers strike, Joss Whedon (Buffy, Firefly, etc) got bored and this is what came out of that boredom - epic epicness of epic proportions.

It's a three act series (about 45 minutes total) about a super villain who's actually a really nice guy. Anyway, he has a blog, though contrary to the title, the story doesn't revolve around the blog. Just, once in a while he'll get on the blog, and you'll see it from that perspective.

I feel obligated to mention that the villain (Dr. Horrible) is played by none other than Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother (Though to be frank, you should already know who NPH is))

The main antagonist is the super hero, Captain Hammer (played by Nathan Fillion from Firefly) who is kind of a jackass.

And to cover the "Sing Along" part of the title, it's a musical. The music is really good, and NPH is a surprisingly good singer. Not all the songs are amazing, but all the lyrics are really good and in particular, I really love the song "On The Rise" which is a duet between Harris and Felicia Day.

Anyway, I recommend getting it on iTunes or watching it on Hulu or something if you haven't seen it. If you have, let's talk about how awesome it is!
