For the lulz I might make Raetia and Algonair the other continents encompassing the world map. :tom:

More trickles: these are the starting classes that'll be available. I'm still working on the promotion descriptions. Promotions with a * next to them are considered prestige classes, which will be special promotions which require moderator approval. :lolwut:

Quote:

Core Classes

Core classes are the starting classes available to anyone. They have more in common with the classes in FE 4, 9, and 10 than in the GBA games, but they're not identical. In order for a character to qualify for a certain core class they must meet the requirements listed. "High" is regarded as anything above a C grade (so B, A, or S).

Archer
A staple of many armies, but not strong enough to be frontliners, archers can be found anywhere you can find in need of ranged protection. Unlike in the games archers are not kept to 2~ range combat, but it still takes a particularly skilled bowman to fire at point-blank.
Requirements: At least a B in Agility, Bows
Promotion Choices: Ranger, Sniper

Axe Armor
The sturdiest and strongest men in armies, axe armors in particular are prized for their offense and defense. Don't expect them to move much on the battlefield, however.
Requirements: At least a B in Constitution, Axes
Promotion Choices: General, Great Knight

Axe Fighter
Whether they're bandits or bar brawlers, axe fighters combine the strength of an axe and the speed of a runner. While they may not be as common as their scrawny rivals -- the myrmidons and the mercenaries -- the can cleave them in two if they manage to strike a hit.
Requirements: At least a B in Agility, Axes
Promotion Choices: Berserker, Corsair

Axe Knight
A nice balance between the raw power of an armor and the agileness of a fighter, these horseback cavaliers can be found jousting with enemies or carrying off wounded allies from the battlefield.
Requirements: Axes
Promotion Choices: Black Knight*, Great Knight, Paladin, White Knight*
Bonus: Knights receive horses

Bard
A bard's main purpose is entertainment, not bloodshed, though like the infamous Dance Commander can tell you they're quite an asset regardless... if you can keep them away from harm.
Requirements: At least a B in Charisma, Musical Instruments
Promotion Choices: Gypsy, Mageknight, Sage

Bow Armor
When you don't need the agility of an archer, a bow armor is usually your next best bet. There's hardly any need to worry about them falling in battle, even against those pesky magic users.
Requirements: At least a B in Constitution, Bows
Promotion Choices: General, Great Knight

Bow Knight
Bow knights are used when armies need to chase down flying enemy units, which a typical archer or bow armor cannot do. A balanced class otherwise.
Requirements: Bows
Promotion Choices: Black Knight*, Great Knight, Ranger, White Knight*
Bonus: Knights receive horses

Brigand
More unruly than their axe fighter comrades but less opportunistic than their pirate brothers, brigands like the stalk the village roads for easy prey or raid caravans for their goods. There is a handful of just brigands, but they're usually still pretty unruly.
Requirements: At least a B in Agility, Axes
Promotion Choices: Corsair, Warrior

Cleric
Prized apprentices under the church, many societies place great prestige and respect unto their clerics and healers. Clerics are the female equivalent to priests, and unlike in our world most servants under the churches are female, both poor and noble alike.
Requirements: Staves, female
Promotion Choices: Bishop, Dark Acolyte*, Light Acolyte*, Sage

Dancer
Like the bard, the dancer seeks to entertain, though with their body instead of their instruments. Some gain a less-than-clean reputation with their 'dances', while others genuinely seek to dazzle the crowds that watch them.
Requirements: At least a B in Charisma, Rings
Promotion Choices: Gypsy, Sage, Valkyrie

Lance Armor
The balanced, ever-reliable armor that's neither too weak nor too fast. Lance armors are more common simply because a lance is easier to use from within their shells.
Requirements: At least a B in Constitution, Lances
Promotion Choices: General, Great Knight

Lance Knight
The most common knights on the battlefield and one of the oldest professions known to man. Lance knights are also usually avid jousters.
Requirements: Lances
Promotion Choices: Black Knight*, Great Knight, Paladin, White Knight*
Bonus: Knights receive horses

Mage
Anima is a newer discovery than Light or Dark magic, but it's by far grown to be the most diverse. As such, the numbers of mages has grown significantly in armies and mercenary companies alike. It's good money! And a mage has no particular allegiance to anyone.
Requirements: At least a B in Intelligence, Anima
Promotion Choices: Hierophant*, Mageknight, Sage

Monk
The offensive servants of the church and usually male, though female monks are not unheard of. Monks are often employed whenever darkness is afoot.
Requirements: At least a B in Intelligence, Light
Promotion Choices: Bishop, Hierophant*, Light Acolyte*

Mercenary
Sword fighters who don't drift quite as much as myrmidons and instead live for adventure and money, wherever it may be found.
Requirements: At least a B in Agility, Swords
Promotion Choices: Amazon*, Hero, Ranger

Myrmidon
Drifters and wanderers who seek challengers and mastery of the blade they have chosen to guide them.
Requirements: At least a B in Agility, Swords
Promotion Choices: Amazon*, Assassin, Swordmaster

Noble
Unlike your typical high-born runt, nobles seek to break from the snob stereotype and stake out to discover the rest of the world. Because of their riches, things are inevitably easier on the road, but not so much in the heat of battle.
Requirements: At least a B in Charisma
Promotion Choices: Emissary*, Paladin, Princess*
Bonus: Nobles receive horses

Pegasus Knight
Most pegasus knights hail from the Sheciz Empire along with their Wyvern and Griffon counterparts, but more often than not they're women. They're also more prone to hunt in packs than alone. They're sought out more now that magic has grown in popularity.
Requirements: At least a B in Agility, Lances
Promotion Choices: Falcoknight, Griffon Knight*, Wyvern Knight
Bonus: Pegasus Knights receive pegasi

Pirate
They sail, they drink, and they fight. Somewhere in between all of that there's lots of pillaging and yet more drinking. Pirates can range from seafaring explorers to rugged clouts looking for fame and fortune.
Requirements: At least a B in Agility, Axes
Promotion Choices: Corsair, Warrior

Priest
The male equivalent to a cleric and notably smaller in number, they're nonetheless given the same laurels as other servants of the church.
Requirements: At least a B in Intelligence, Staves, Male
Promotion Choices: Bishop, Dark Acolyte*, Light Acolyte*, Sage

Shaman
Spellcasters of a more sinister mold, shamans practice the forbidden dark arts and as a result most of them are isolated from society or living in underground cabals. The life of a shaman is not the one of a mage or a monk.
Requirements: At least a B in Intelligence, Dark
Promotion Choices: Dark Acolyte*, Druid, Lich*, Summoner

Soldier
Even older than the lance knight, soldiers have never gone out of style even if they're not given fancy mounts. They're the main force of any well-equipped army.
Requirements: At least a B in Agility, Lances
Promotion Choices: General, Great Knight

Sword Armor
Quicker but less sturdy than your typical armor, they're nonetheless good at what they intend to accomplish. There has been a sharp increase in female sword armors in recent years.
Requirements: At least a B in Constitution, Swords
Promotion Choices: General, Great Knight

Sword Knight
Sword knights are glorified as your typical knight-in-shining armor, but lances are too unwieldy, using a sword knight is better for quick strikes and easy kills.
Requirements: Swords
Promotion Choices: Black Knight*, Great Knight, Paladin, White Knight*
Bonus: Knights receive horses

Thief
Much like shamans, most thieves live in secrecy because of the unlawfulness their work entails. Some are secretly used by monarchs as spies, while some gain some prestige as witch hunters.
Requirements: At least a B in Agility, Swords
Promotion Choices: Assassin, Rogue, Witch Hunter*
Bonus: Thieves receive the ability to lockpick and pickpocket

Troubadour
Traveling healers on horseback who don't align themselves with any church and give their services to whomever they wish. Troubadours are also found in the back of most battalions. She keeps her allies alive and tends to the fallen on the front lines of battle.
Requirements: At least a B in Intelligence, Staves
Promotion Choices: Mageknight, Valkyrie
Bonus: Troubadours receive receive horses

Wyvern Rider
Knights of the skies. Nearly all wyvern riders are male and hail from the Sheciz Empire, since that's the only place people can typically find and breed wyverns (which are becoming an endangered species).
Requirements: At least a B in Constitution, Lances
Promotion Choices: Griffon Knight*, Wyvern Knight, Wyvern Lord
Bonus: Wyvern Riders receive receive wyverns

Considering the term ‘Prestige Class’ reminds me of DnD, I assume that a char will need to meet certain IC criteria to enter a Prestige Promotion?

fuck yeah Griffon Rider
