Swept Away: Where's Lennart?; Sybille's man servants

Poor Lennart has been zombienapped! Lennart's mother sends a call for adventurers to find her missing son, promising a handsome reward for his return.

While Sybille's guard and other would-be mercenaries searched for Lennart's location -- or at least for his body -- Lennart found himself within the confines of a rather strange "prison". It was clearly a bedroom of some sort, with a large bed dominating its center, decorated with fluffy pillows.

And, curiously enough, the soldier would find himself shackled to said bed. Even more unsettling was the fact that Lennart would notice that he had no memory of what happened after he'd be caught by the hungry zombies, though he had been missing for a few weeks at the very least.

His armor was also apparently disposed of.

Sir Herod scratched his bristled chin, trying to feign thoughtfulness, even though he knew he was out of ideas of where to look for his fellow-at-arms. There also wasn't much room for thought when you had just been at the brothel an hour ago. He ultimately decided to start again at the last place Lennart was seen: in the docks. He sat on a lemon crate awaiting to be loaded onto a ship.

"Don't think too hard Sir Herod, you might hurt yourself." Captian Sutherland said as she approched the knight. It was hard to tell if she meant it as a joke or a jab at the man. She stopped in front of Herod and crossed her over her armored chest.

"I'm guessing you've had no luck in finding Sir Lennart?"

Pain... my body aches...

Lennart slowly opened his eyes and stared blankly at the ceiling of the room he was currently in. He felt incredibly exhausted to the bone, but managed to shake himself out of the torpor and look at his surroundings. He tried to get up but his hands were shackled down. Actually, he should have realized this seeing as he was completely stretched across the bed. He could barely lift his head.

"Ugh... what happened?" He tried to remember the events that took place, and remembered the zombies carrying him away. "...Shit." He took a deep breath and then tried to rip the shackles off the bed posts by sheer force, but the hunger was killing him and he had no energy to perform such a task.

"You're finally awake..." a melodic, sultry voice wafted from the curtains leading into another obscure room. A small woman, dressed in leather, soon appeared in the doorway holding a plate full of grapes and bread. Possibly Lennart's long-awaited meal.

As she sauntered hither, it became apparent that the lower half of her otherwise doll-like countenance was hidden behind a purple veil. Her raven hair was long and luxurious, held back in two long pony tails that trailed to her knees.

Ohnoes. :NomNomNom:

Sutherland's verbal jab was met with a playful chuckle instead of his ire. He was well-used to the woman's exasperation -- not that it changed his behavior at all, of course. "It's hard to think when in your beautiful presence, Marie." It dripped with cheese, but such are the ways of Sir Herod. "No, I'm afraid he's just as lost as before. I suspect he might be in pieces by now."

Lennart blinked slowly, as he stared at the woman. "Who might I owe this pleasure? I apologize for my... lack of mobility. And clothing." He sighed, showing no sign of tension. This was most likely his captive, and a leader of the zombies.

Just my luck. Held captive by a Zombie queen.

"I'm sure." She looked unamused. She knew him to be a womanizer and brushed off his compliments. "I doubt the prin- er... Should I say Queen won't be pleased with that. If he's in peices we might still find his limbs. What about his armor and weapon? At least there would be traces of those around. It's still too early to give up."

While Sutherland and Herod enjoyed their talk, Hayato sat under a tree next to Zephyr drawing in his sketch pad. He had not much time to partake in this hobby with all the random fighting thats been going on recently. In addition to that, he also had to spend a good deal of time recovering from his last skirmish. The events there still puzzled him, like the idenity of that crazed mage or why he did what he did. Hayato hopped these questions would all be answered in time. But for now, he had to focus on saving Lennart.

He couldn't help think about the poor soul and where he might be at this time. Though, if he were stronger, he might have avoided this situation entirely. But on the plus side, his family had promised a handsome reward for finding him. So in the end, Lennart's weakness would actually be benificial to Hayato. But they would have to bring him back alive to recieve this award.

Hayato continued drawing, waiting for the commend to leave.

(Dead people are dead?)

"Don't worry, you'll be getting used to it," the woman purred and placed the tray on the foot of the bed. "I'm Zipporah, your captor, but hopefully I'll become something... more." Her eyes fell from the bound man back onto the plate of foodstuffs. "Would you like something to eat, my love?"

The knight snorted, somewhat indignantly. "I haven't found anything. Since you have so many ideas, perhaps we should follow your lead, mi'lady?" Herod admired his own reflection within the shine of his sword.

"I meant no offense. I was just trying to raise the point that he may still be alive, there is no evidence supporting the theory that he's dead other than he's been missing. Reguardless if he is or isn't, we have to keep looking for him. Orders are orders." She glanced over to Hayato before looking back to Sir Herod. "We should find Lord Kudret first. He's a tracker of a sorts from what I understand. He'd know better how to find him than the two of us."

Scylla walked towards the docks. She could have ran, of course, but that would be setting the wrong example , and would have looked very unladylike. She was in half-dragon form, her wings unrestricted by the bare shoulders the dress she was wearing left her, looking somewhat off due to a rather sharp looking spear slanted across herback. She had ended up promising to a worried mother that she would try and find her missing son, and after some asking around she had traced the person leading the investigation to the dock area.

Once there, it didn't take much to figure out that a small group, amongst which two officers, would most likely be the people she would be looking for. Well... except that Lennaert person, of course.

- "Good day, officers. I was led to understand you are leading the investigation for the missing person? If so, I am to assist you in your assignment."

The Black Dragon laguz calmly awaited their response, trying to act very much like the noble she was raised to be. She didn't exactly look down on humans, but they wree kind of like children: They'd need proper guidance if they were to amount to anything in a century or two, and to do that they'd simply be needing an example.

Captain Sutherland looked rather surprised to be approached by a dragon. A black dragon by the looks of it. She turned to face the woman and offered a bit of a confused look. "Are you referring to a knight of the name of Lennart? Where did you meet his parents?"

It was odd a dragon laguz suddenly offering up her services to the military, nevermind the fact that the dragon laguz were rare in this part of the world.

Scylla thought for a moment. Come to think of it, she didn't really know what the knight's name was, but since the Captain (well, one of them anyway) had kindly provided her with the name she decided not to bring it up. As for the second question...

- "I met his parents by chance. I couldn't help noticing the 'Have You Seen This Boy' posters that were being put up around town, and when i asked a passerby about them she turned out to be his mother. Long story short, i agreed to help look for him, and found myself in these docks shortly afterwards."

She calmly waited to see if the female human had any more questions for her. While personally, she couldn't care less about the military, if they were in charge of the investigation then it meant Lennart was probably one of their members. In the end, it did not matter though, she would find this missing person and they would all go their own way again.

(OOC: Fuck, I didn't notice your post until now Crysta, sorry. I just saw Blank's recent post and didn't see yours above it.)

Lennart sighed, fustrated. "Well then, Zipporah, I'd love something to eat. But let's not feed me any drugged or toxic foods, shall we?" Lennart's eyes darted about, observing more and more of his surroundings, looking for anything to aid him in escaping.

((You can chill 'til after Christmas, PZ. This leg needs to catch up.))

Herod lifted his brows when a cryptic woman approached them and announced her willingness to help them in their quest, and as usual his train of thought had been derailed into a metaphorical ravine. He did not have these laguz-sensing senses when they were present in their human forms, so whatever surprised expression had adorned Sutherland's fair features was absent on his own. "Wow. Two fair maidens are looking for 'im. I need to get lost more often."

He grinned wryly, before spotting two orphans poking at something with a stick in the corner of his eye. Something floating in the water. "Hey kids, what are you doing?"

The children blinked up at him owlishly, before abruptly running off in myriad directions and confusing the knight.

Captian Sutherland's player is vastly confused about the physical appearance of dragon laguz so she decided to wave the whole issue.

The woman found it a little suspicious that this woman ALSO so happened to be searching for Lennart. But it was free help, so why refuse? For now at least.

"You're welcome to come along as long as you don't cause any trouble." The captain told the dragon laguz. She turned back to Herod and quirked a brow, ignoring his first comment. "Scaring off children again?" She wandered over to look at what it was in the water. "Sir Herod... What is that?" It looked something like a large cut of soggy meat was accidentally dropped into the harbor and abandoned.
