That's what I just said. >_> Which means any NPC's (granted there are fewer, but there's enough) in range of Kat they will attack her and if she's in too far she'll die before she even gets her level. >_> And my other two get OHKO'ed. |

You can command them if the person in question gives you permission. Other then that, no. And not my fault you were gone for a while after I told you to join. I wasnt expecting Sent to sign up <.< Just keep your eyes peeled for the next set, and enter the arena in the mean time. |

Well Simon, since Giant Penis dropped out, you’re fighting Trogdor anyways. Also, there’s more wars and such going around now. Now, I’m not sure on your opinions, but Yied’s money-whoring smells of faggotry to me >_> All in favour of going to war against those Loptous Maggots say ‘Aye’. |

'Aye' Since Manster doesn't care for them it would only strengthen our alliance. And Since Issac and Tharacia don't like them either, they may be less inclined to attack us right away. |

Much as the enemy of our enemy is not our friend, the enemy of our friend is not our enemy. We have no means of going to war against Yied because of our geographical position, and even if we made a contribution in troops or gold, it probably would not be worthwhile to us; maybe we would break even or get a slight profit from it, at the expense of valuable troops that could be deployed elsewhere. Moreover, the reason for going to war seems a little...shaky. Even if it's true that Yied is not being neutral in letting Miletos use its roads, what then does that make Yied? Simply another country supporting Miletos, just as Isaac or Manster, with the exception of trying to make a profit at the expense of their national security. And you don't see us declaring war on Isaac or Manster; hell, we're allies with Manster, so it's not because Yied has violated some self-proscribed neutrality. Ultimately, Yied tried to be above our partisanship of war and failed; it's no lower than us, but only equal to us. In fact, let's look at this a little more. We're allies with Manster. Manster is allied with Miletos. Yied is not officially allied with Miletos, but instead apparently attempting to support it in secret. There's no difference in their diplomatic stances toward Miletos. Yied is charging gold, Manster is not. That's the difference in their method. Is that really the only reason for war with Yied? Because they don't mind letting other countries use their roads, at a cost of 25G? Is that it? I vote nay. |

The point is, thanks to our alliances, we can easily reach Yied. And if we do not act now, when will we act? Yied's actions prove them to be not neutral, but simply money-whores who will do anything for a gold piece. Should we allow someone that shameless to go unpunished? I dont think so. Sure, we could sit back and let everyone else fight the wars, but then what? Do we wait till our opponents are strong enough to crush us, even with our allies? Now is the time to make a stand, not simply sit in silence. |

Hmm then we'd have to fight 3 countries cause miletos would adopt the scared yied into their satan cult if we do attack we need to have our allies to it too. I'll do whatever. I'd be careful to attack only when out allies feel its time to get rid of yied.

Grandbell would indeed support us into Yied. That said... why not jump in with Yied? We are allied with Manster already, who is bound to support Miletos. And if Yied brings support as well, as they seem willing to do, we could move into the west and make major claims while Grandbell is busy with its eastern borders. Moreover, if you are so antsy to fight a war, it would make more sense to press our own borders further east and fight closer to our own nation. We take on more risk if we do this, granted, but the reward is actually appreciable (as if Thracia and company are going to give us anyway for Yied!) and when we do succeed, we have much more power. As for the gold, personally, I don't care about their shameless money-whoring. It's an embarrassment to Yied and I would be ashamed if we took up such a practice, but let them look the fool to the world if it is this they desire. And when we take the western third or half of Grandbell without serious resistance because Grandbell is distracted, who will then look the fool -- the ally of the whore, or the one who lost all of that land? I would personally prefer to slowly expand -- take Orgahil, acquire Madino from Silesia, and then work on pushing west, keeping all of our forces close to home such that expansion will be easier. If we must go to war first, or do both simultaneously, though, fighting a foreign war essentially for free makes little sense in light of the target right before our eyes. ((EDIT: On a side note, this shit is fun, keep it going)) Edited by Phoenix Wright, Jul 13 2009, 11:58 AM.
