I think I'm halfway through and so for it's one of the best games I've ever played. I loved the first one but it had it's little problems. In this one it seems like they fixed a of them, made it less complicated to get through squad menus. Graphically it's pretty amazing. Voice acting in superb and the depth and background of the games storyline and characters is God-mode h4x. So far I can see how my choices in the first game affects this game in terms of character relationships. The game comes with a Cerberus network card that let's you download a side mission, new character, and his personal quest for free. If you haven't played the first game you should still get it because it's not hard to jump into and you get filled in on what happened in the last game as you go along, so it's not like you're bombarded by a clusterfuck of flashbacks.

yay

I love running into old squad members from the first game and seeing how they react to you being in Cerberus now and how badly they react depending on your relationship with them before. It makes the game that much better.
Also, the fighting in this one is better too. <3

I have yet to get it, but it seems as though it's worth the hype. I didn't play the first one, but I think I'll just move onto this and catch up to the story later haha

What i've seen of the game looks amazing, I'm holding off on getting it for price as well as getting 100% on the first one, I know that as soon as I play ME2 I won't be able to touch ME1 again.

If you pick it up sooner it'll be safer to guarantee getting the cerberus card that comes with it. That card allows you to access downloadable quests and an extra character/personal quest that only Ceberus members can obtain. Dragon Age originally came with a code to unlock Shale and the blood dragon armor which unlocks the blood dragon armor in ME2, but I'm sure they don't come with it anymore. :/
I wouldn't wait too long to get ME2 just for that nifty bonus.
And yes, I joygasm whenever I play it.

Hmm, I'm tempted to pick it up now so that I can get that. It's still gonna be full retail price pretty much everywhere.

You're better off getting it now, because when the price drops, you lose the Cerberus Network Card (which costs $15 otherwise)

I guess, I still don't know though. I mean I can't stand missing out on stuff I assume the codes can only be used once? How decent is the stuff you get?

What so you can only ever get all of this stuff if you have the card?

I believe so. If you go through the regular Xbox Live Marketplace, you only see a download for the cerberus network for 1200 MS points. When you check the main menu of the game upon start-up, you'll notice that if you go to the market place through there (after activating the code and becoming a member) you'll see 3 new things available, and for free. You get Zaeed, a h4x bounty hunter and of course he comes with his own personal quest. You also get another quest where you explore the crash site of the old Normandy (the ship that blew up that everyone saw in the previews and commercials), and the new heavy gun. You can always get it now and wait till you beat the first one to start playing it. You get some nifty bonuses for transferring your data over your data.

Note: when you transfer your data from the previous game, you don't need to stay as the same class. So, if you had an awesome run through, but you would like to start off as a different class (The sentenal and vanguard are the best classes,IMO) you can do so. You also start off at level 5 instead of 1.

Hahahaha.

No.

Infiltrator > Everything.

Of course, you have to have some finesse and an actual sense of accuracy to make the most use of this assassination-oriented class. Played well, you can clear a field of motherfuckers before the skirmishers (aka your party members) even get within range.

Also, Incinerate will hurt people badly.

AI Hack doesn't give you enough h4x time to make it any good against the real Synthetic threats (those big mechs), so it's better to take one level and forget about it afterward.

Vanguards are pretty chill, but I have to say I like the Infiltrators' style a lot more. B|
