Now I get to yell at you, Linoud. Stop being a hypocritically little bitch. "Excellent to see you've progressed as well". What the fuck? You bring your friend onto my forum to derail a thread into a degenerate flamefest, and pop in every one in a while with your own snide comments about how mature people are. Let me illustrate to you what exactly you and your friend did to this topic, so you can stop acting like a martyr: You quote your friend, and post this:
If your intention was to no have this topic turn into a flaming war, and rather to discuss the strength of European gamers vs American gamers, one of those sentences is completely unnecessary and flamebait in itself. Let me spell it out for you. "Talks about raping tournaments lol tell him to go to socal or EVO and we'll see him rape there." What the fuck does that have to do with the overall strength of one country vs another? Did you really need to post that? You knew perfectly well that saying that was an attack on his ego and would result in the posts that followed, yet you posted it anyway. But lets go on. Following you egging Inui on, and Inui responding predictably, Soja basically told you people to STFU. But no, your friend had to come here and continue. He comes here, and then starts taking shots at American players, and doing the exact fucking thing that Inui was doing. Do you seriously think he came just to defend his character? In his first post, he was responding to shit Inui said. Point #1 was basically this: -She is low tier -I would rape you -I beat top players -SF4 is balanced The rest? #2 was insulting American gamers. #3 was him being ignorant to Inui's status in the Smash community and calling him a scrub. #4 was a combination of your friend talking about how great he is, and how he thought Inui was probably a scrub in his game of choice. #5 was trolling Inui. Of course, this trash draws another response from Inui that fans the flame. And then your friend comes back with a cluster fuck of a post insulting America, Inui, Brawl, the East Coast, all at the same time. Then we get another post from you. You arrogantly talk about how Inui has regressed, say he is as mature as an infant, and can't read. Inui is just as guilty as you two are, so don't fucking act like you are innocent. Then I come and post saying everyone to stop the shitfest. Oh yeah, and I make an unrelated joke about Europe. Which you don't even fucking understand, and start making retarded comments about my intelligence. If you really want me to explain the joke, then I will. And you call me immature? |

Haha, alrighty. Man, I missed out on Third Strike alot when it came out. Only played it there last year maybe? For abit. Was good fun. Twas where I used Makoto, thought she was fun. Control scheme is the same really, except they've added a few new things. You'll catch on pretty fast I say. All this talk makes me want to go play SSF2HDR on the arcade.. |

![]() My first warning in almost three years... It was a long run, and now it's over... GJ @ Sentenal. I'd probably play SF4 if I owned a console that had it...but...I don't even own a Wii.

Yeah, I got the sense of that when I played SFIV at MTAC last year and got Zangrief'd (ugh). What threw me off is that very few of the old inputs seemed to be working. >:[ Then again, I was using the Xbox gamepad, which by and large is a generally shitty platform to be firing off anything more complex than a ryu-ken or hadouken from. |

Linoud has IMed me, and said his response to me was meant as a joke. I suppose I misunderstood his intention. I don't want to see any more flaming in this topic. |

Ouch. Zangief'd, huh? That's never good. Infact, one of the first tournaments we held was SF4, and one of the organizers was entered as a Zangief. She just lariat spammed a Ken player and won. Poor guy was good as Ken, but he just didnt know what to do. I agree. You could pickup a Fightpad with a good Dpad on it for SF, or you could pickup a fightstick. Bit expensive but worth it if your a stick user. |

I'm on a restrained budget so that's not an option for a while. But yeah, Zangrief'd. |

Lol. Zangief is top tier in this game. Easy really. Lariat goes through fireballs on startup. It's hella easy to beat a lariat spam. Like ridiculously easy. But a good Zangief player can mince anyone. He's a scary beast.

I was under the impression that Zangief was initially thought of as top tier, but then it was discovered that Seth, Dhalsim, and basically every shoto beat him...which is a lot of characters. |

In SSF4, it's looking like Dudley will be top tier, he has too many options & his combo's are looking limitless. Possibly followed by Juri or Ryu. Sagat got stripped, his tiger uppercuts don't do nearly as much damage as they did in Vanilla SF4, Think about 20% of what he did before. Ryu can't trade>ultra anymore, as they made the hit stun longer. |
