12000 CP, that's stupid as hell.
That's ok if its hella far into the game.
of course I'm comparing it to the shitload of points it takes to earn the first damned crystal for any job that any team member didn't start out with. Right now it takes maybe 4000-6000 CP to unlock another crystal (y'know those HP or Str ones) on Lightning's commando chart(lv4 section) but it takes like 12000 to get the first crystal in the lv1 area of the Synergist chart. wtf.

I'm still in those freakin' tunnels (the ones you go into after beating Raines) and I want to hurry up and get the hell out D:

Axel Blade/Lionheart are the best for Lightning.
Denneb Duelers/Procyons are the best for Sazh.
Pandoran Spear is easily the best for Fang
Snow's weapons kinda blow, just pick the one with the highest combat stats.

I didn't really use the other characters so I didn't bother looking up their best weapons and stuff, but I'm certain about these.

12000 CP isn't that much later on, to be honest. Btw, only spend CP on the main roles for each character until post game.

Your friendly neighbourhood spiderman.

The weapon upgrade system in this seems pretty awesome albeit confusing, I only saw it for a minute so would someone care to explain to me how it works?

Each Component is worth a certain amount of points in the upgrade shop. Some are worth very little an some are worth a lot (sell the credit and incentive chips. They're only worth several points but worth a few hundred to I think a thousand Gil). Each weapon requires a certain amount of points to level up, almost like a character itself. Some weopons with added effects or good bonuses usually require a lot of points meaning you'll need more components are some really expensive/rare ones that are worth a lot of points(you can actually sorta chain in upgrading. You can use 10 of one component at once, receive the points and then aquire a X2.0 bonus or something). Once a weapon levels up, the said weapon will grow in strenght and magic. So if a weapon originally starts with +12 strength and +10 magic it can grow to a +16 strength +12 magic weapon (increase in stat vary by weapon). If you level up a weapon to its max level, you can use a rare component (if you have the right one) to upgrade it an change it into an advanced version of the original (like how my Lightnings sword, Gladius, became the Helter-Skelter). Once the weapon transforms, you'll be able to continue leveling it up.

That's pretty much it I guess.

if you're going to grind then grind in the next area right after the giant field. There's a string of monsters from the first hopilite or whatever it's called to the juggernaut that looks like a wall of vertical dots that will give you 22K CP in roughly 15 minutes depending how strong you are. note, don't fight the juggernaut.

Yeah, the juggernaut's (or anything that looks like it) is fucking tough.

I'm stuck on the mission in the tower where you have to kill one of those to move on. >_>

You don't have to fight a Juggernaut in Temjin's Tower (IIRC that was the name), if that's the tower you're referring to.

It is. But you have to activate something by completing 3 cie'th missions, or so the game says. Maybe there's another way to activate the elevators or whatever it is.

You have to complete the missions given to you by the statues inside the tower, yeah.

And THAT's what I'm stuck on. One's a juggernaut thing.
Can you change the target's or something?

No, but whatever it is you fight, I know it's not called a Juggernaut, since I checked a guide.
