So, what do you think? Can we? I definitely think we can. But my thing is that what about the statement all living things come to an end? |

I think eventually we'll have the medicine available to make the average life span longer, but we can't live "forever" lol. Death is a natural thing and it has to happen some time. But look at how the life span has increased over time already. It used to be rare to live to 60, now it's common to be 90. |

I don't think anyone can achieve immortality, not even Lord Voldermort, who thirsted for it. And aimed for it all his life. |

Let's stick to reality shall we? I love to live far beyond the normal human life span and I saw by placing our mind and soul on the internet shall this be achieved. |

I don't think we'll live forever. our bodies would just wear themselves away after a while. |

We'll be able to live even longer in the future but i highly doubt there will ever be enough medicines and stuff like that to enable us to live forever. It just doesn't seem possible. |

We could go Futurama style and have our heads in jars. |

forever you ask? No, if someone takes a gun and shoots me then I am dead or if someone takes a knife and cuts off my head then I am dead. But I do believe in the future we can age the ageing process by a lot. I mean double or triple it. If even possible to be able to transfer the mind. To transfer the mind of a person to another body. That would be sick!

I agree ashimashi. A cool idea I thought of was maybe we could automatically give other people our knowledge instead of actually transferring brains. For example, we could create something that would get all of the knowledge you have and put it all into a chip and transfer whatever information is on that chip into someone else. Anyways, we're getting a bit off topic here. Lol |
