GFB Champions is an RPG inspired by the same show of this boards namesake. In this world, Gunpla is not longer just a collectors hobby, its an actual battle system. Now, this RPG also has some elements from the "Gunpla Beginning" series. Below is a few things members should know before getting into the fight. The Battle Systems Plavsky Field Arena: The Plavsky Field Arena is used in most official matches involving Gunpla Battles. Exposing the Gunpla to this particle field not only allows the Gunpla to move, but basically brings the plastic kits to life, allowing very extreme movements. Only the most carefully built Gunpla models can handle this system as well. Beware that when using the Plavsky Field for a match, the model kits themselves are vulnerable to actual damage and as such at the end of a match, most defeated Gunpla models are considered inoperable unless repaired back to a pristine state. Most Plavsky Arena's are found in tournament halls, but some shops do have them as well. (Note: Because there is no way to measure the map sizes, all maps are considered infinite.) Simulator Arenas: Simulator Arenas are the Arcade version of Gunpla Battles. Most Gunpla shops will have a set of simulator pods in a separate room, for a small price of 250 yen, Gunpla Battlers can use the system. Because it is just a simulation pod, the player is given the most experience possible such as G-Forces from acceleration and actual mobile suit controls. Gunpla will not break from using the system as the kit is merely scanned and given a virtual counterpart. The Fields When conducting a Gunpla Battle, there are several stages that are randomly picked:
When conducting a tournament, matches such as the Battle Royal Round will have every stage available in a single large map. Players can travel to any location they wish as long as the gunpla can handle atmospheric interface. Edited by Vekta, Jan 30 2014, 08:44 PM.
