Which match-ups do you see in GDBR as being either the most problematic, the easiest, or simply your favorites? One of my favorite match-ups is pitting either Godzilla 1994 or BurningG against SpaceGodzilla in Tokyo. Spamming atomic rays or nuclear pulses in the city causes SO much destruction, it's a blast! Godzilla's ray is really great at taking out those crystals, and the fact that it can sweep is even better. A really good counter against SpaceGodzilla is... surprisingly, Zilla. If you back up in the corner and spam his Flame Breath, SpaceG's crystals go down quick. And Zilla is extremely nimble, so he can jump at you one second with a claw swipe then back up and hit you with another Flame Breath before you know it! Zilla is still very frail, and his moves don't hurt SpaceG too much overall, but it's still a pretty interesting match-up to play. |

Godzilla 1973 vs Kiryu I usually turn down special and melee damage and turn up the special bar fill up speed for both monsters, therefore giving Kiryu the ability to spam absolute zero cannon. He's also one of the only monsters who can give you trouble in a melee fight, so it makes the fight extremely intense. Zilla vs Gigan 2004 For this fight I turn up how much damage Gigan does and i might turn down how much damage Zilla does. Also you can dodge Gigan's laser with Zilla's crouch, I don't know but its extremely amusing to see Zilla troll Gigan by dodging all of his attacks. Another thing is that I feel like the actual Zilla where its crucial to be careful and dodge everything just like he would... however I'm not sure I'd wanna feel like I was Zilla lol. |
