What do you think is the strongest and weakest monster you played as? My Strongest is Super Mecha Godzilla and my weakest is Gabara. |

GMK is weak and his energy attacks cost lots so he's not that good. Surprisingly the ground crawlers (Anguirus, Baragon and Varan) are very powerful and can be useful in almost any situation. Mothra 2003 is very good. Gorosaurus is a good way to put your opponent in the corner.  I haven't found a monster yet I didn't like playing as.

GMK is strong. All you need to do is spam the cancel roars and the full blast and ignore any damage you take. |

Ugh. NO HE'S NOT. That ONLY works against the AI. You'll also notice that if you play against him with practically anybody, you can beat him and keep him from breathing at all. "Ignoring damage" is not a viable piece of advice in a game where most of the entire roster is subject to doing the same thing, least of all when you're not even close to the heaviest hitter. I know how to roar cancel, and every other monster is capable of doing so; that's not a factor here in the slightest. The whole point is that that's not a working strategy because anybody with a brain playing a monster with slower ranged damage output will simply rush in and beat him with punches in the corner, thus making roaring and breathing impossible. Just because GMK Godzilla is really strong in the movies doesn't mean he's any good in this game. This isn't even a matter of opinion. From a purely statistical standpoint, he doesn't stand out in any manner, not even damage when he gets off his electric breath. The one unique characteristic he has is highest energy cost for a single attack. And if you'd bother to read anything I wrote, or just experimented around, you'd hopefully realize that spamming the slowest move in the game that's subject to getting canceled via abusable glitch isn't actually useful against a human. I only play against the AI, not many people like Godzilla where I live.
1. What do the movies have to do with anything? It's a game with balance and mechanics so guys like Gabara can even stand a chance against Super-Mechagodzilla, so whatever happens on film is meaningless in this game outside of designs, special powers, and roars. 2. GMK Godzilla was not strong in his movie, beating up 3 pussified water downed versions of monsters does not scream power to me. It screams of Toho trying too hard to cash in on overused monsters. 
Yes it is. Even people in the fighting game community who get major hard ons for Teir lists will acknowledge that even the worst fighter in a game can still beat the best fighter, he's just at a disadvantage against everyone else so it'll be an uphill battle for the gamer using him. The guy above me says that Zone Fighter is the strongest for him. GMK is the strongest for me. It's called different playstyles. Some people like rushdown fighters, some like zoners, some like keep away fighters. What is good for one player is not good for everyone, there is no one size fits all fighter. Some people like to play the weak but fast, some like to play the slow but strong. Point is people play who "feels" right for them.
Just because people don't quote your wall of text doesn't mean they didn't read it. You can say a fighter sucks but people are still gonna play whoever they feel comfortable playing. They aren't gonna stop using them cause someone says they suck. Hell some people go out of there way to play the worst guy so they can have bragging rights over beating the better characters who have more advantages or for the thrill of a self imposed challenge like Dan in Street Fighter. It's a matter of who feels right for the gamer when he/she is playing. Someone disagreeing with you over something in a game is not a reason to start becoming hostile.
See first part. Just cause you play this game "compativility" (shitty spelling for the lose) does not mean everyone does. Some of us just play it for fun. BOT, King Ghidorah's Gravity Beams are pretty awesome and with roar cancel taking down Spacegodzilla is a breeze. Kamacuras is pretty high up there with his speed though he still loses are recharge speed since he can't roar cancel unless you have him punch. Zone Fighter's got some pretty fast punches and his attacks surprisingly don't use a lot of energy so you can spam a lot missiles or proton beams before you need to recharge. Ebirah's charge is pretty powerful against anything that can't fly out of reach and Wolfmen, geeze, I don't know if Alex patched him but Bagan is at a huge disadvantage against Wolfmen's charge. For me my strongest is Super MechaGodzilla because he is just simply the strongest with the Garuda beams, The yellow stomach lazer, and the rainbow mouth beam. I have been able to beat arcade mode in less then 2 minutes, Seriously play arcade mode as Super MechaGodzilla and just hold down z for every battle (unless it is a ground monster like Anguirus) and you will win very easily. |

Strongest is Supermechagodzilla his special instantly kills on unstoppable and it almost kills in insane. Not sure why they made me not the strongest anyways the weakest is!!!!!! Kamacuras even on unstoppable I cant seem to beat anyone as him he is just a faster yet much weaker version of rodan. But the most evil goes to....... BABY MOTHRA! I could never defeat her as anyone. GK but baby mothra is tough. |
