The idea with mental disorders, Neil, is that you see a psychologist if you think you have to have it checked out. Life will be easier for you if you know what's going in that area, because you know what it is and you know that it's not your fault, and maybe you can even get something, be it therapy or medication, to help you with it.

Psychologists cost money, Alucard.
Money is something I don't really possess at the moment.
My parents refuse to help me too so can't go to them.

BTW, I did see a psychologist when I was little (in 4th grade). He used to try to come up with better ways for me to manage my anger, show me pictures and ask me what I thought they were, and shit like that. Did it help? Not really.

Is it natural for a kid to have a temper tantrum almost every single day in elementary school? To throw desks around and sometimes even physically assault other kids? Well, that's how I was. Oh but don't get me wrong, I was one of the smartest kids out of the bunch. I never got anything less than an A all through out elementary and middle school. I would always be the best on spelling tests, the best on those speed math tests, and the best on virtually every other test they administered. But, if I got a couple wrong on a test, I would flip out about it. Is that natural?

So people, what the hell do you think is wrong with me? Is it as simple as anger management issues or do I have something else?

Well, I was the last kid out of 4....so maybe they were sick and tired of raising kids by the time they got to me?
Oh by the way, my dad even told me I was a mistake before when he got mad at me on a few occasions....

So your cockiness is a delusion designed to redirect your thoughts away from your dad calling you a mistake?

Neil,

Bro you don't need to see a doctor. I really dont think all of your problems will be solved by an anti-depressant or various mood-stabilizers. You talked about wanting to fall in love...thats pretty normal, if you ask me. You talked about how you border on the line of obsession and indifference....that's also normal, we like shit or we dont. You talked about how your dad said you were a mistake...so was I, no big deal. KN had mentioned your cockiness, and I'd be willing to guess (though this could be a stretch) that alot of the "confidence" you talk about is just a mask for your insecurities. Now, don't take that the wrong way. Obviously the only reason I'd jump to that conclusion, is because I've been there myself. I dont know if you actually took the time to check out my myspace, buuuut ( I have no idea how to say this without sounding like an ass) I've really never had a problem getting girls or fitting in. As a result, through out high school it probably looked like I was extremely confident. Ha! I was so insecure it was rediculous. It wasn't until recently (the last year or so) that I truly became comfortable and confident with who I am. What I'm trying to say is...dont over analyze everything man. You seem pretty chill, so use that to your advantage in life...

No KN.
My cockiness is very real. And without the handicap of marijuana, it's growing on a daily basis.
Why? Because I am no longer apathetic towards life. I have goals now and lofty ones at that. I will accomplish these goals because I have limitless potential. And guess what? Once these goals of mine are completed, my confidence will be larger than life itself. I'm already one cocky son of a bitch for the fact that I only weigh 165 pounds yet I can bench over 300 pounds. I can run 2 miles in less than 12 minutes. I've had sex easily over 200 times in my life, and unlike many other guys out there, I'm like the fuckin energizer bunny in bed. Oh and guess what else? I have a lot of will power as well. I can say no to people, and I even quit smoking cigarettes a few weeks ago (not like I ever was really addicted to them like a lot of people are. I wasn't a pack a day smoker...maybe only 5 cigs a day if that). In addition, when I did try in school (high school and college) I excelled. The key is to try though. I must avoid marijuana because it encourages laziness, and I have to prioritize properly. I'm already at an advantage because my capacity to learn is greater than many other people out there, however, the effort needs to be present as well. So next time around (and I do plan on returning to college to become a nurse), I am going to bust my ass and show the world what I am capable of. It will take time, but the end result will be well worth it.

Moss: Thanks for the words of encouragement.
I disagree with you on one thing though. Fitting in. You don't have to "fit in". And by that, I mean you don't have to be like everyone else. Why would anyone want to be part of the flock of sheep anyway? I always try to take the path less traveled, to do things in an unorthodox manner, and to be my own person. I'm Neil. I'm unique, and there is no one else in this world quite like myself. I'm very proud of that fact, and I plan on keeping it that way. I don't want to be shoved into some kind of a category. I just want to be myself.

Now don't get me wrong, you should be polite and courteous to others. You should be respectful of differences in everyone and not be quick to judge. You should practice good manners and have good hygiene....shit like that is fine. But your personality and your method on how you do things is up to you to define. You shouldn't become someone else just to "fit in". That's wrong in my eyes.

We really are all unique. We should observe this "uniqueness" as beautiful.

But one thing I never wanted to be was a particular stereotype. Thus far, I think I've accomplished that.

You're right, WuWu.
Thank you for stepping in for me. :up2:

But, I actually think Zara doesn't like beefed up muscle men like myself because she doesn't like to feel inferior. She likes to be the dominatrix in the relationship aka "the one wearing the pants". She doesn't like to feel like she's weaker or less capable than her partner. At least that's what I think. (Of course she's gonna come into this thread and correct my analysis, but I really don't give a fuck. I say what's on my mind whether you like it or not.)

Either way, I'm a fuckin beast. I bench over 300 pounds and I have 5 % body fat. Not only am I excessively muscular, but I can outrun most people and I'm rather flexible (I can kick above my head and I'm a master at hacky sack). And when it comes to sex, I can last for hours. Oh and even after I get off the first time, give me about 10 minutes and I can get it back up and be ready for some more. Basically people, I'm a machine. I define physicality at its finest, and my will power is incredible. Most people would give up after going through such intense work outs, but not me. I push myself past the limits and create new ones every day. And do I need a personal trainer or a coach of some sort?! Hell No! I compete against myself! I don't even go to a gym! I work out at home on my bench and with free weights! I also run around my neighborhood and do pull ups at my old elementary school because they have pull up bars there. How many people are as disciplined and as determined as me to do such things? Not many....not in this morbidly obese and increasingly lazy country that we live in.

So there you have it. As far as physical fitness goes, I am superior.
And while I may not be as smart as some of you guys on these forums, does that really matter? I know some pretty dumb motherfuckers out there with bachelors or even masters degrees. Getting a diploma or "that piece of paper" as I like to refer to it as is pretty fuckin easy as long as you stay determined and put forth the appropriate amount of effort.

And intelligence aside, how about your people skills, huh? Can you go up to a random person that you don't know nor ever talked to and start a conversation out of the blue? Can you maintain eye contact with that person, listen intently, and add in your own personal reflections and relate? I certainly can. Hell, I did it today. I'm a cashier at Wal Mart and already after my second day on the job, they're telling me that I'm full of energy and quite a talker. I use good manners, and even when a customer gets pissed off, I smile and tell them to have a good day. I know that some of you on these forums can't do that. Take Jennie for instance. She's like a little fuckin hermit! Hahahaha she couldn't approach a stranger if her life depended on it! She could never be as assertive as me! She could never back up her words with exuding confidence! She's WEAK! And I am STRONG. I define strength in my body and my fuckin mind.

So you may think of me as an asshole....that's fine, people. Dislike me all you want.
In the end of the day, I'm always smiling and looking forward to the next day. Why? Because I know I have limitless potential. Because I know that I am fuckin amazing! I know that I have many strengths and attributes.
This confidence....cockiness....vanity....whatever you wanna call it....it gets me through the day. And that is all that matters.

So what, KN. I'm still young. I have plenty of time to develop a meaningful career in my life.
Besides, staying fit is important too. If I maintain this lifestyle, I'll probably outlive your nerdy ass.

In addition, I have parents that are well off. I live in a very nice house. I'm thankful for the things I have and grateful to be alive. Life is good for me. I can't complain.

Look, it's quite obvious Neil gives a hundred shits about what people think, otherwise he wouldn't write ten paragraphs singing his own praises. If he was truly confident in his abilities he wouldn't need to reassure himself of them every time he had something to say. To Neil an accomplishment would be something that would make other people think more highly of him, and in that sense he has done absolutely nothing.

Ummm....no.
Let's take my weight lifting for example. I don't lift so that other people can think highly of me. That may happen along with the territory, but my main purpose for lifting is 1: Self Defense (yeah KN I bet if we met in public and you pushed me the wrong way, I'd fuck your day up) 2: To be physically fit and more healthy 3: To challenge myself and my physical limitations.

I lift more to impress myself than other people.

That explains lifting weights, not constantly talking about it. In fact, I think you just confirmed what KN said.
