Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!! That's some funny shit you posted there, Alucard! "Zelda: Ocarina of Time" was a kickass game though for sure. Still one of my favorites of all time right up there with Final Fantasy 8. |

The newer Zelda's are better in terms of character, background and all that stuff, but when it comes down to fun OoT is still one of the best. |

maybe you'll be able to play it both ways! :D ..but it's probably being designed for the use of the gamepad. |

So the Wii U doesn't do the Wiimote thing, only a regular controller with a screen? |

It's absolutely compatible with Wii controllers, most games can be played with that or the pro controller: Posted Image Which is supposedly one of the best controllers ever. But the Gamepad (the one with the screen) allows for maps etc to be displayed, so it's the standard controller. Of course you'll only own one of those, so in multiplayer the rest would be using Wiimotes or Pro controllers. Aonuma (lead developer on Zelda) has mentioned that Zelda U will be making extensive use of the Gamepad, which would mean that 1:1 sword play is almost definitely out. Although he has mentioned experimenting with multiplayer, so it's entirely possible we'll get a co-op game in which one person uses the gamepad, and the other uses the Wiimote for swordplay. They did that in Nintendoland (up to 5 players, I think). Edited by Shadow, Apr 12 2014, 05:49 AM.

I like the Wiimote, but I prefer a regular controller for Zelda games. The Wiimote is better for games like Mario Party and Wario Ware. |

agreed. Man that first Prime was so good.. EDIT: on the subject.. Skyward Sword is the best use of "motion" gaming i've ever seen. Anyway! I'm a huge fan of the Gamepad ( the one with the screen) That's all i use. Edited by YouKnowMe, Apr 15 2014, 03:19 PM.

Finally got around to playing the remastered Wind Waker! It's still awesome. i am missing a few things that were in Skyward Sword(gameplay wise) but i guess it's a good change of pace. And the gamepad feels good to play with, but i feel the gamecube controller was/would be more precise for this game. the game is still SUPER easy though. Especially the bosses! :ohnoes: (and ahh the selfies are great Dx) |
