Potential Case, Zola K. Knowles, 108, Texas, Bryan, Crestview

My Great Aunt is Zola K. Knowles of Bryan, Texas. She celebrated her 108th birthday on March 5th, 2016. Born March 5th, 1908.

Among many accomplishments she happens to be the mother-in-law to a famous Baseball player, Wally Moon, world series winner, former Dodger, rookie of the year.

She currently resides at the Crestview Retirement Community in Bryan, TX near Texas A&M.

Cheers y'all,

Rob Greene

Welcome, rbg5161.

It is wonderful to learn about anyone who has celebrated their 108th birthday or older. We will keep an eye on your great aunt, Zola Knowles, and hope to see her as a potential future supercentenarian! At that time, we would be happy to work with you regarding any age validation process the family would like to do.

As an aside, as I myself am a baseball fan (but mostly in 80's and 90's), I was not sure if I recognized the name, Wally Moon. I searched online and immediately realized that his face was recognizable due to his unibrow and remember seeing baseball cards with his picture on it (but before my card-buying days).

Great interview of him in 2008 here (http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-moon23mar23-story.html).

So his wife, Bettye, would be Mrs. Zola Knowles's daughter? Just curious.

Best regards,
