If you are a student with a .ac.uk email address, you can purchase and download Windows 7 (either Home Premium or Professional) 32 or 64 bit versions for £30. This has been in the papers and runs until January 3rd. You can do this by registering your email address at: http://windows7.digitalriver.com/store/mswpuk/en_GB/DisplayHomePage?resid=Sy-AWAoHAkQAADgBu6AAAAAF&rests=1261426603812 If you are upgrading from XP or Vista 32 bit to Windows 7 64 bit, you will need to download the ISO file and create a bootable DVD. There are instruction on how to create a bootable DVD and a useful tool at: http://www.trickyways.com/2009/10/creating-a-bootable-windows-7-usbdvd-from-iso-file/ |
