well we moved some of the bigger items today , and i'll be getting my divorce papers served on me tomorrow , and if iam lucky , thats all i'll get rofl . What a day ... We picked up a short , but longish set of drawers , iam sure my wife said "OK". so when i step foward , i pushed the drawers into her . Hitting her lip and making it bleed. :A ...I was gutted , but not as upset as she was . Then the next load we took our daughters desk ,its quiet shinny and slippy , and fell from my hands , good job it missed my bare feet , but i did not miss my wifes bare feet :A ...well that was it , she swore at me . I didnt know she knew such words rofl .. So i did the decent thing , told her and the kids , iam cooking tonight to make amends , well i didnt so much cook, as pick up . Fish and chips really . So there we where , having tea , i said , well at least we had a laugh today eh guys? .I dont think i should have said that , my wife reminded me of her lip and foot . She said iam on my own tomorrow , as she is going to work . I dont know , some people can be so touchy cant they ??? naegotscoobie |

Really, I don't know why she's being so touchy-all she needs is a face mask, steel toe boots, shin guards and she's back in the game!! rofl |

Well we're in , at last . No phone or internet for a couple of days , all is good now . Mowed the lawn today and timed myself , 1 hr 45 mins . Iam definately for a ride on mower . Thought i might get away with it , but thats a crazy amount of time to spend out in the sun. When we first looked at the place it wasnt to bad , but now we're in , theres a bit of work to be done ,but iam leaving that to my good wife ,as she thinks she has good taste in colours , rofl , she even had the cheak to ask why when moving things with her or my nephew , who came to help with the heavey stuff , did everything seem to bounce of the walls on its way out , YET , the TV was handled with kids gloves and given specail treatment naegotscoobie ...I like to call it "prioratizing" , ( is that spelt right?) rofl .This is us here , building ..1 is garages..2 is the house ..and 3 the shed / wood shed Posted Image Posted Image Edited by conor2, Feb 13 2010, 07:04 AM.

I phoned my Insureance people today as well , still had to get my wife to right down the street name for the right spelling . Iam rubbish at english spelling rofl . Also phoned Dad today , he said his cousin who has been out her for a holiday at Xmas , and stayed with my uncle down the south island , has started to grow kiwi-fruit in her garden , and it has taken of , it grows like a weed , you got to keep on top of it ( so to speak) . And she lives in the Borders . She said it grew right up the side of her house . Might tell my sister and brother-in-law to shoot sorry give away there sheep and grow kiwi-fruit . As they live in the Borders . OH , and i hate the taste of kiwi-fruit. rofl |

Looks great Mal. I am so envious of you. I am not envious of your wife though. But I have to agree with others and ask why you were both in bare feet??? I hope you and your family will be very happy in your new home. There's certainly lots of space!! |
