Jayce pushed people aside as he wandered through the Tattooine marketplace. It was filled with slime, evildoers, criminals, and scum in general. He had his hood fully up, no one being able to see his face unless they stared at him from inches away. This being Tattooine, he didn't even look, or even feel, remotely out of place to the locals.

The pod race he bought tickets for didn't start for another hour or two, so he still had time to browse the marketplace. Some of the smaller items that he had glimpsed at when the stallkeepers weren't looking at him certainly weren't legal in any Republic controlled sector of the galaxy.

A certain stall had caught his attention though: It had delicious looking fruit, albiet slimy and many tentacles. The colors were vibrant and it smelled delicious.

"Ey, stallkeeper, what's that fruit?" he yelled out to be heard over the clamor of the area.

The keeper turned around and happened to be Jawa. Thankfully, he spoke Basic. "Delicious. Very delicious. Brings death in hour, maybe less. 500 credits. Best way to die, guaranteed money back if not." The Jawa collapsed in a fit of giggled before composing itself once again, Jayce already walking away into the crowd.

This was a strange planet. It felt like every kind of lifeforms from the galaxy could be sensed here. He did find it fascinating though if only just to feel what kind of force the beings of this planet had. It was dangerous to go outside, so he had been told, and he should be careful. This planet was just a pit stop on the Correllian Run before they headed back out to their proper destination. Still, how often would a Padawan be able to set foot on Tatooine?

Thus here Kalder was, walking through the market place. This definitely wasn't Republic space as he could tell some items were not meant to be sold out in the open like this. Even the people were different as the force hey gave out was slightly harsher than those he was accustomed with. Speaking of Force Presences, it seemed that a strong one had just emerged. Kalder was curious about this and proceeded to investigate.

He had spotted it already when the presence suddenly went into a crowd. That made it harder for Kalder to follow as he had to filter out the ones blocking his vision. For now he would just barely follow him. Hopefully the crowd would thin out wherever the being was going to.

Jayce walked through the crowd, throwing out his force sense to the immediate surroundings, adding in force empathy to the mix. He immediately focused in on those that had darker intentions. Dark intentions? Marketplace? It wouldn't lead him directly to the black market, but it would be a small step in getting there. He had interest in some of the items they sold here. Nothing specific, but enough.

The path that the Zabrak he was following was taking, it was specifically for something meant to be hidden. They backtracked and took winding paths that were merely to waste time, or to lose people like him.

Eventually, Jayce was led to an empty courtyard, where the Zabrak he was following suddenly turned around and looked directly at him. "I know you're there, Jedi scum." Jayce had to wonder how he knew. He had taken many precautions, even hiding behind barrels or corners whenever he had the Zabrak in direct sight.

He didn't have much time to figure out how he knew before he had to draw his red lightsaber to deflect the oncoming bolts.

Thankfully, the crowd did thin out but it following this being wasn't going to be simple as he thought. From what he could tell, this one was trying to follow someone. Kalder could tell because they would be the only beings in whatever path they would take. The other one the Strong Force Presence was following would leave his sensing range from time-to-time but at least he could keep track of the Force Presence. Trying to get a good feel of the person's Force was hard at the moment as Kalder was focusing on following them and not being seen as well. Suddenly, all parties stopped moving and one of them turned to address the other.

"I know you're there, Jedi scum."

To which made Kalder confused as the Zabrak (he could tell now) wasn't addressing him so did that mean the one he was following a Jedi? It didn't seem right as it didn't feel like a Jedi Presence when he first saw it. If it wasn't a Jedi then what was the being? Using the Force, Kalder felt the presence and to his shock, it felt rage, pain and anger in the force. That was no Jedi.

Kalder quickly thumbed his lightsaber but didn't ignite it has he was still hesitant about going up against a Dark Side user. Plus if the Zabrak was willing to attack a Jedi then it would be wise to stay put and see how this would play out. But he had a feeling that he would step in anyway if the Zabrak was truly in danger.

Dzznnnn. The hum filled the air. Jayce walked nonchalantly towards the Zabrak, deflecting blaster bolts as he went. Jayce was actually startled when his saber went out for a few seconds, the few blaster bolts shot after wards actually hitting him. It was those blaster bolts...the...whatever, the ones that turned off lightsabers for a few moments.

He leaped behind a tall pillar, taking cover from the wanton blaster shots. Didn't this Zabrak run out of ammo? The thought ran through his mind as he heard the familiar sound of one being reloaded with a fresh battery pack.

Now was his chance. He couldn't fire back. Jayce ran out from behind the pillar and leaped straight at the Zabrak, lightsaber poised to take off his head.

Kalder had to move to another spot quickly as the two fought it each other. Surprisingly the Zabrak was able to get some shots in mostly because the Sith's lightsaber had gone out. Kalder was now moving a bit closer to get a better reading on the events. The Sith was currently taking cover while the Zabrak was still shooting until he ran out of ammo. Unfortunately, this meant the Sith saw the opportunity to attack. Technically it would be unwise to butt in a fight between a Sith and whoever this other being was. But since Kalder was already here he couldn't just very well ignore it and leave a being to die. Plus the Zabrak hadn't done anything yet even if he wasn't necessarily a model citizen.

Thus it was time for Kalder to make a move. Using the force, Kalder grabbed hold of the ejected battery pack and telekinetically threw it towards the Sith's head trying to bypass the lightsaber. Once distracted, Kalder would step out of his hiding place, lightsaber at hand, to try and stop this. He would ignite his lightsaber in case they didn't realize what he was.

In the event that object failed to stop the Sith from beheading the Zabrak, Kalder would jump out to deflect the lightsaber with his own and make his presence known.

The Zabrak ran in fear, holding his hand to his face and ran, as Jayce stopped midswing. A battery pack gone against his lightsaber and evaporated...and it wasn't thrown by the Zabrak merchant.

Most Sith would flee. Then again, most Jedi would have avoided the battle, at least the Padawans. This one's Force didn't give off enough of an UMPH.

Jayce walked slowly towards the Jedi, dragging his lightsaber across the ground, letting sparks fly. "So...what he we here? A sheep to play with the lions? Tattooine is no place for your kind."

He didn't care for a reply. Without waiting, he force pushed the Jedi with all his might, attempting to unbalance him before using for leap to land directly on top him, force pushing himself downwards as well to gain some extra force in his strike.

It seemed that Kalder wouldn't need to block the strike as the Sith sensed his distraction and stopped. Stepping out from his hiding place was a bold move but at least made the Sith focus on him and not the fleeing Zabrak. That meant Part 1 was finished now he only need to get to Part 3 which was gettingnack to the hangar. Part 2 was a little bit sketchy right now and it unfortunately contained how to survive a lightsaber dragging Sith.

"So...what he we here? A sheep to play with the lions? Tattooine is no place for your kind."

Before he could even say a comeback, the Force Rippled as Kalder felt the Sith gathering it. Kalder tried to bracehimself but the force knocked him backwards and was sent flying across the courtyard. He tried his best to roll back upright as he felt the Sith wasn't just going to stop attacking. Looking back up he saw the Sith quickly leapt to where he was, trying to attack him with an over head slash. He didn't have time to ignite his saber to block so Kalder just dove quickly to the side. After dodging he would finally ignite his lightsaber casting an orange glow. It was time for Kalder to open up to the Force and use his Foresight to be able to fight against this Sith ready to counteract this time any his attacks.

Jayce's lightsaber slammed into the dirt, creating nearly a perfectly straight scorch mark. He got back up off his knees and snarled at the Jedi.

"I'm going to crush you."

He took one step forward and stopped, continuing to speak for a moment.

"I'm going to bring you to a high that you've never felt and then, I'm going to bring you down to the ground and destroy you.", Jayce whispered with a grin to the Jedi. This might seem like a foolish and nonsensical thing to say, but he had accompanied it all with hand motions, lifting his hand and bring it down with the respective words. It might seem like he was just trying to intimidate, but it was moreso.

He had remembered Dissonance's advice and had accompanied hand motions to his telekinesis. He was lifting a large potted plant from somewhere behind the Jedi and force pushed it towards him. Whether or not it struck, he'd leap again towards his prey.

With the force flowing through him, Kalder was waiting for the perfect opportunity to attack. His legs were tense and arms relaxed while he was studying the Sith looking for an opening.

"I'm going to crush you."

It looked like the Sith would finally attack him but then he stopped and started speaking again.

"I'm going to bring you to a high that you've never felt and then-

But Kalder didn't let him finish, ruining whatever plans the Sith had, because as soon as he saw one arm raise up, thus showing an opening, he leapt forward with a crescent slash that seemed to target the raised hand. However that was just a fake as his true target was the hilt of the Dark User's Lightsaber. Kalder was trying to disarm him because he wasn't up to dismembering being even Siths. Plus his combat had all been supervised till now and he didn't think it was an actual option allowed.

If the Sith had managed to see through his faint and blocked, Kalder would keep his weight on it to keep the blades locked so he could say something as well.

"You talk to much."

He would then release the lock and begin a series of attacks to keep the Sith busy.

Tsk tsk. Interrupting someone mid sentence? That was very rude. Jayce jumped back, out of the slash, and took a look at how the jedi held the saber and attacked. Nothing too advanced. as he had some familiarity with this style. He knew them from somewhere, just couldn't pinpoint it.

Their blades locked for a moment as Jayce went back in and had to go on the defense for a singular moment against the sudden rush. Perhaps this Jedi was more than the usual stock. Than again, maybe he wasn't.

Time to check. This time, he'd use a full powered force push at the jedi, slightly angled upwards so he'd get more off a vertical lift. He'd then attempt to force leap towards the unwanted sperm cell. Midair he'd take out both blasters and just spray off shots towards the jedi before holstering them and taking back out his lightsaber as quickly as he could.

Trying to keep up the attack was hard as this Sith was very proficient in using the force to fight. Maybe he was a Niman user as well due to using the force a lot? Either way Kalder once again felt the force gather to send him flying, but this time he was alert and he managed to brace himself properly. Too bad though the push had a vertical part to it and that he wasn't expecting. At least he wasn't tumbling through the air and was able to keep his view on the Sith, which wasn't really hard as his "sight" wasn't limited to just to in front of him like most species. A good thing since the Sith jumped towards to attack him again.

This time was different as the the Sith put away his lightsaber and brought out two blaster. There action to put away the Sith's lightsaber and bring out his blaster was more than enough time to prepare himself. The Sith sprayed a good number of shots but with the Force helping him, batting back the bolts was easy for Kalder. He would try to get a least one shot reflected back at the Sith as there was almost no way for him to defend himself from a reflected shot with his lightsaber off. The distance between was too small and it was next to impossible to dodge in midair.

By the time the spray had ended, Kalder's feet hit ground. Instead of rolling away like before, Kalder would absorb the fall with his legs and then spring back towards the approaching Sith in midair. Not really towards the Sith but a little off to the side so that he could preform a rising slash to the lightsaber the Sith was holding while still dodge a possible counteract from the Sith.

Jayce grinned. He loved being on the offensive.

The grin did disappear just slightly as his arm was slightly burned by the Miraluka's lightsaber as he landed. Without waiting for an reprieve, he jumped upwards around two feet before force pushing the enemy directly down in an attempt to dis-balance him again, adding an overhead strike, hoping sheer power would help him win.

If this was a supervised match, Kalder would have won already as he had achieved Shiim Mark as he felt his lightsaber achieve contact and it wasn't with anothe lightsaber. But, this wasn't a practice match and Kalder's reflexively stopping for even a moment was enough for the Sith to escape by jumping away with the Force. A familiar gathering of the Force was happening once more and this time, Kalder used a bit Force Suppression to try and negate the attack. Unfortunately this push was still strong, a testament just how powerful the Sith was with this maneuver.

Thankfully this was push was directed down and Kalder stance was able to absorb some of the impact but just barely. His legs fet the strain and he wouldn't be able to move to dodge his attack. So he would have to meet this attack with his lightsaber, but not completely head on as that would be unwise. Instead he would preform a slash from right-to-left, batting the lightsaber away without having to overcome the strength of the wielder.

After parrying the blade, Kalder would use the momentum to preform a back kick towards the landing foe, undeneath his guard. It wasn't as civilized as a pure Lightsaber fight but Kalder would take whatever advantage he could. If the kick hit he would dash forward making another slash, this time an overhead one, to still try and hit the hilt of the lightsaber. Even if he would fail he would continue preforming lightsaber strikes to put pressure on the Sith.

Jayce was getting annoyed. Although he wasn't winning in this fight versus the jedi, he wasn't winning. He refused to lose against someone of the Light.

He saw the kick coming and angled his foot just slightly and raised it, to block it. It came from some old, ancient fighting style, something with Brazen Jee-Yoo Jitsu in the name. It was ridiculous how many minor things he'd read usually came back to him in the future to help him out in real situations. The kick hit his lower leg and he ignored it afterwards. Leave it to a jedi to use so unorthodox methods in a lightsaber fight. Vermin. It was good to have had them nearly eradicated in the last war.

The jedi then came at him with an overhead strike. Well, if he was going to use such methods as kicking on a Sith, then two could play that game and play unfairly. Without waiting for the saber to come down, Jayce sidestepped and force pushed the jedi just slightly enough to make him fly about 10 feet, in the same moment he used force leap at an angle to meet the jedi mid-air, hoping to score a nice bilateral dissection on the scum.

Another force push prevented Kalder's second attack and sent him flying... again. Though, the more times the Sith used that particular tactic, the more predictable he became. Force Push then Force Leap with a lightsaber strike repeated ad nuaseum since the fight started. Thus Kalder was more than ready to intercept the next slash. Although it was beginning to wear him out and Kalder realized that beating the Sith wasn't the only way to win this fight. When the blades clashed, Kalder let the full force of the hit throw him a bit more to get some distance between them when they both landed.

Throughout the fight, Kalder had been force pushed continuously towards the edges of the courtyard. It was around the 2nd time that in occurred to him to properly position himself to use it to his advantage. Thus he had been constantly pushed closer and closer to the entrances of the courtyard. This last push had now properly placed Kalder in front of one such entrance.

Using the hand holding the lightsaber, Kalder summon the force to telekinetically "kick" the sand between him and the Sith to create a sand-veil. This would obscure their vision of each other but the Miraluka could still monitor the Sith with his Force Vision as a bright light. With his free hand, Kalder gathered a stronger amount of Force. It was his turn to Force Push the Sith, not as strong as the Sith's but still enough. Once the Sith was sent flying, Kalder would turn of his lightsaber and strategically retreat from the courtyard and back out to the Market Place where there were more people to get lost in. His target was to get back to hanger where the ship was waiting.

Jayce grimaced, realizing his folly, forgetting one of the key lessons that had been drilled into him in the army. Even he realized he was getting boring this fight, predictable. He'd been repeating the same course of action so much that the Jedi simply didn't fear him anymore. His own shame was only intensified as the Jedi kicked sand in his face and attempted to escape. Luckily, he'd felt his opponent gather some force and had been ready to react with whatever he shot. He flew through the air and landed roughly on his feet, not bothering to steady himself before running right back into the fray

Jayce would not have this, losing, and as such, he'd resort to more Sith-like measures.

Not sensing any attack coming, he closed in on the Jedi, attempting to use Force Sense and Empathy to keep close on his tail until the sand cleared from his eyes.

Jayce could also sense the marketplace...There we go...

He yelled out to the Jedi seconds before they'd both reach the throng of species and marketgoers.

"You run into that throng and I'll slaughter dozens of them as punishment for your cowardice...unless you would like to surrender with 'honor' on my conditions." A smirk played on his face as he said 'honor'. There was no honor in surrender.

OOC: Hanta, you can't Force Push yourself. It's a blast of telekinetic energy let out from your palm. I mean, technically, you COULD Force Push yourself, but you'd be hitting yourself point blank with enough power to send your body through the air, by pointing your palm at your body. And if you got the angle wrong, you'd be flipping yourself through the air.

He had to hand it to the Sith for persistence as he was still following Kalder through the alleyway. Then again it wasn't really hard as there was only one path back to the market. It was almost home free at the end of the alleyway to the crowd where Kalder could hide but the Sith was still hot on his tail. Then came the threat which only a Sith could say. Neither options were acceptable and whatever concept of surrender the Sith thought of wasn't the same as his. He had to do something though as he couldn't risk the Sith going through with his threat.

Without any pause, Kalder turned around and extended both hands upwards as he gathered the Force. He would mime reaching something above the Sith to make him think that he was grabbing a object above him. His hands would drop down but angle to the side so that they would be spread apart. The act was just to make the Sith think he was using an object above him but in fact he was targeting the sand once more. He would grab the sand at both sides of the Sith to throw them at him. His hands would then close together but he wasn't finished with his motion. With the Sith busy with the sand at his sides, Kalder would preform one more Force Push at the sand in front of the Sith this time. The sand would be kicked more violently at the Sith and hopefully hinder him better than before.

He would keep on telekinetically pushing the sand towards the Sith, waiting for him to counterattack.
