The vote for the concept was a tie and I had to break it. I chose Totem Quest as the concept for the first game because it felt like the less abstract of the two lead concepts and easier to make a product out of. http://w11.zetaboards.com/GameDevExperiment/topic/10463600/2/#new This isn't any reason to stop thinking about Escher or any other submitted concept but for now I need everyone to focus on Totem Quest and getting that done. Ylla volunteered to be lead developer and we decided on the Unity game engine and C# as the programming language. Everyone should download Unity so they can play our project while it is being built. I'm appointing Mr. E as creative director unless there are objections. His first mission is to draft a game design document. For everyone else...if you are interested in programming message Ylla. Missions for everyone: Art: Concept art for characters and backgrounds, storyboards Writing: worldbuilding of the Totem Quest universe, pretty much take the concept and write a fanfic short story for it. Music: Link to some sample songs that you think would be good as backgrounds for a safe "hub" level, actiony game levels, boss fight, intro music and ending music Please post your contributions to the appropriate forums. |

Should we have a seperate forum for the game? It'd be more organized. |

You mean, build an entire other website? I could just make a separate sub section to the Forum. |
