It's cool in a way, but I feel like it shouldn't be there. It's a quite big change of the old system. I guess they might've chosen that because they had to come up with something new.
Adding a Mega Evolution is a lazy, but effective way.

I'll probably not get to play those games in a while, but still. I'm still a fan and I feel like it's too much. Final evolution is final.

I don't see how it's innovative as Pokemon isn't the first to utilize a feature like that.

I wish people would stop abusing that word because they think it makes their praise sound more convincing.

It's brings freshness to a tired series.

That doesn't really mean it's innovative.

New, yes. Innovative, No.

I've never seen something quite like a Mega Evolution before.

It's kinda like DBZ. You need something new? Add another SSJ level.

Ran out of ideas? SSJ God.

Yeah, DBZ sells it pretty good, but Pokemon shouldn't go that way.

I don't think it's innovative either.

It's fine if you like it, Terror. Still, I don't think it's very creative. It's basically just making the already powerful final evolutions look more powerful, which is kinda cheap.

You should play some of the Digimon games as you can digivolve just during the battle, especially with DNA digivolve
